I got a TT Z recently at a complete bargain - and compared to my NA - which is quite modded - its not bad - but im getting blown 0 - 60 by GTO's !! Its doin my head in, what sort of bar standard do GTOs run ? ? Im trying to compare them as they seem to weigh the same, and drive similar - but im not running a BC, just BOV,Apexi Cone and HKS Super Drag exhausts. Still getting nailed - so im buying a BC !! Any help with this would be ace !!

Do you get a lot of heat coming from the gearbox/center console/hand brake. Drove to and from Alton Towers today and it seems to get rather warm. Also, after a it is hot sometimes selecting 1st and occasionally 2nd gear is a bit stiff. Any ideas guys :confused:

just bought some new rims but i dont know what amount of torque i should use to tighten the nuts, and my manual is missing. can any one tell the the correct amount to use please

Got to use my fog light conversion (inner brake lights) in anger for the first time yesterday. When it was fitted I tested it thoroughly and everything was ok. Now when I use it and hit the brake pedal the 'lights' warning message pops up on the dash. I've checked all the lights and everything seems to be working fine. Any ideas what's going on there then? Where are the best places to get these bits? Not 100% sure it's them that are causing my current vibes but they look like the most likely potential causes. Mark

Anyone know how to get that bumpy effect on the sills? Some tit backed into the zed and drove off, and i'm gonna have a go at fixing it myself (Dont want to loose my NCB) I can spry/fill etc just not sure on how to get the stonechip effect. Cheers people, Mathew

God I'm a bit slow sometimes... I'd noticed that there was a bit of a dead spot on my accelerator pedal, but finally got around to having a look last night. "a bit" turned out to be about an inch, and I found that my accelerator cable was connected to the cruise control throttle cam rather than the pedal cam :slap: . A quick swap later, and there's no slack, the cars a lot more responsive, and I actually get full power :hyper: Mind you, I guess the reverse mod is a simple change if anyone wants their car to be more of a cruiser than a throbbing sex-beast.

Near the train station about 7pm yesterday - waved at eachother. You looked well p1ssed off! Must have been the traffic.

my z crunches when i put it in 4th it's only that gear and only when i boot it, if i drive it normally it wont do it. I've fitted a short Shifter could it be that i've done it up too tight where the bolt goes through the pushes, this is the pivot point which joins it to the linkage, it is fairly stiff all round through the gears. Or do you think it could be some thing else???

had a turbo recond and it lasted 300 miles the one ive taken off now has more play than the original and smokes like f@ck getting good at it now hour and a half to get the thing off any ideas ? steve
