OK ladeez'n'gennelmen I did my research and conscientiously used the searchy thing to try to find which plug is best for a Japanese TT over here. At last, I find the guru's site which say NGK PFR6B-11B is right and -11C is probably OK. In a pm, the guru himself said -11C is better for UK fuel and will be better than the -11B.  NGK's site says -11C and Courtesy's says -11B (but of course that is for US fuel so maybe -11C is right after all.) Heeeelep - which one? -11B or -11C?

Most sources of these make you buy 2 packs of 4. I just found that Concept Z in Arizona http://www.czp.us will happily sell you a set of 6 because (and I quote) "we don't see why you should have to buy 2 connectors you don't need." Blimey. And for only $84 (+ tax / shipping). What jolly nice American chappies. :D

Well got my car back. Now running 2 T28 BB but can't get boost over 11psi. I think it maybe down to the two BOVs being set to open at 10-11? If they came off a standard car, would they not be set to 10 if running 9 psi? They are HKS but down know how to adjust? Any help or advise? Cheers

Ive got a 300zx tt auto import and have had it for around 5 months. after a month the speedo started to play up, it would would stop and start again and also effects the power steering (not good when going hard in2 a corner) but recently its been gettin worse, ive checked the connectors a few times. Theres a little black box behind the speedo which i think maybe the delimiter, could it be this which maybe causing the probs or maybe the clocks themselfs? Ive got a feeling its a loose wire but cant seem to find it. Its abit of a nitemare esp with all the rozzers around and there bloody cameras. Thanks Hanksy

OK boys and girls, there have been a lot of posts about BOVs recently and at least two threads laughing at the the electronic "sound-only" pt-schhhh noise makers. Here is a very reasoned analysis of what BOVs do, and why Re-circs are better and how to install them. http://www.twinturbo.net/ttnetfaq/FAQpages/bov.html This applies, according to the author, up to about (guess) 600hp. Serious tuners have the experience / knowledge to judge exactly when is right to use BOVs for their engine instead of recircs. Otherwise, recirc + noisemaker is a better / more reliable / cheaper mod than BOVs. If you want the noise. According to this lot. Discuss :D (If you …

Please can you lot give me some advice on buying a nissan 300zx, which do you think is better the turbo or non turbo, what things should I look for before I buy the car, do they have anything that seems to go wrong with them that I should check for, someone told me the injectors and the power transistor can play up but I would really like some more info on things to look for, also is there a lot of difference in power with the twin turbo, the non is about 240bhp and with the turbo its 280, or am I wrong??? Thanks for all your help Clive

Hi all, Have just been looking at the timing belt service kit on the coutesy site. http://www.courtesyparts.com/z32/z32-tbkita1.html Have noticed the cam bely tensioner makes up a huge amount of the overall cost. Is it really vital to replace this? Also I have noticed that they offer a couple of other pulleys as an option. I will be adding an underdrive pulley anyway but any opinions on the other pulleys they are selling? Many thanks, Justin.

Sorry about this, but could someone move this to the 'For Sale' section for me please? Thanks Anyway... For Sale - 1994 300ZX TT Auto Import, dark metallic blue paint, black leather interior, recent cam belt service, can arrange for regular service before sale. MOT until May 05, 84000 miles. All the usual (T Top, all electrics etc). Has a Cat 1 alarm & a Tracker. It also hast two huge fat oval stainless steel exhausts which I got in 2002. Was thinking somewhere in the region of £6750 ono. Right, here's what's wrong with it: the leather in the front is a little cracked, and the drivers lumbar support is scuffed, and the fog light at the back is slightly…

I dont think my auto box oil pan has a plug to undo to drain the fluid, short of undoing about 18 bolts I was thinking of flushing it by using the pipes that feed the oil cooler and fitting a tap to let me run the engine and flush new into it while letting the old drain out.....Does it sound feasible or is it likely to be to difficult to juggle the new oil into the system before it all drain out! Any comments appreciated.
