never new where this little reservoir was till now and on inspection there is no fluid :confused: 1/should i just top the reservoir up then see if any leaks are apparent!or do i top up and bleed systym 1st 2/if leaks are apparent does it seem common for master cylinder to leak or slave cylinder! or and clutch pipes! 3/i did read a post about bleeding and looks a PITA.Doesent seem to be air in the systym gears engage properly and seems to bite at the right point so if this is the case then i wouldent have thought i would need to bleed until the systym isent compressing fluid same as brakes i would think. please help in taking the right route thanks i…

Hi As title really :) Is there a need to use expensive Nissan water hoses when replacing the ones under the plenum or can I just cut the length from a roll? I'm wondering if there are any sharp bends I guess where universal hosing would kink, or if there are any pieces with different diameters on each end. Thanks :cool: Pete

Hi all, It seems the past week or so my aircon is giving up! (serves me right for posting saying it has always worked faultless!!!!) When I put the air con on, the car vibrates and rumbles as if on rough tick over, but it isnt, still runnsd smooth but the car vibrates and rumbles??? When I go back on to econ it stops, put aircon back on it starts, turn it off again and it just keeps rumbling. I've noticed with the rumbling of the car tho it seems to be when the fan is going on the condensor? will the compressor still be working a little after switching it off? im confused, dont think its the fan as the fan is only the size of a dinner plate and I doubt it w…

Just playing with the conzult and was wondering what the ideal voltage readings for the o2 sensors should be on idle . what is the spec range and how much fluctuation is there from sensor to sensor. mine has 0.32v and 0.56v and one has a erratic on off signal.

Ain't it always the way? You start doing one thing and break 2 other things in the process. I seem to have taken out anything related directly to the side/headlight switch on the right-hand pod. As we speak I'm downloading the electrical diagrams to try and track down the problem, but I though I'd ask for help in case anyone knew off the top of their head what I've blown and where! I was dismantling the right-hand pod, in which there's my rear fog light switch for the reverse-light-converted fog light. There are crimped splice thingies on a green-ish wire and a black wire which connect to the switch, then a dedicated 3rd wire goes off to the fog light.…

OK, ive done the back seats, done the bottom passenger front seat but have got stuck on the back bit of the passenger front seat..anyone have a link or photos or instructions on how to get the tweed off? Ive got stuck mainly on the headrest (that lock thing u push down isnt releasing the headrest, and i cant get the chair tiliting pull up plastic levers off? Cheers! Rob

I need to know what colour wire goes where on the back of the ignition switch, went to fit my turbo timer, and the plug on the back of the ignition switch fell apart when I touched it. had a look on the on-line manual, but it does'nt give positions or colours. Well. after pushing my car about 1/2 mile after the gearbox failed(may aswell have been in Nutrual) the garage took it back and replaced the filter. All was well for the 1st 20 miles but then she knocked herself down to 3rd (at 70 mph) and that's where she's stayed!!!! any ideas please :bow:
