I bought some T25 turbos off of ebay (they were new but never fitted to his 300zx) and having them fitted today they don't fit. They fit engine side, but going to the exhaust they connections are too big. Anyone any idea why??? Surey a 300zx turbo is the same no matter what age/country etc it's for? They came from universal turbos.

After getting my £320 wheel refurb quote I have been trawling ebay for some new alloys. I spotted a coulpe of people selling lots of alloys (of the same type i think, DGT), see the links below: set 1 set 2 What do people think? Too good to be true? I am on a low budget and would like to stick to 16" wheels. A). so I dont have to buy new tyres and B). the roards are quite bad around my area and the Z clatters around enough with its jap suspension & 16" wheels... Barry

  11. Can anyone help me out here, someone sold me a car yesterday which was described as a good runner in the advertisement. I drove it home which was about 12 miles followed by a further 2 miles to work this morning only to find that it had dumped almost all it's water. Not only that, I later went to the car when it was cold, opened the radiator cap, released any pressure. I then put the cap back, ran the car for a minute & released the cap & the thing exploded there was so much pressure in the cooling system. It's pretty obvious that the head gasket has gone. I must confess, I started to get a little worried when (after handing my money over I might add &am…

I was wondering if it makes a big difference using the n/a clutch pedal box without the booster servo, if it does make the pedal a lot heavier then is the n/a pedal box able to accomodate the booster servo later on or is it a totally different pedal box, cos looking at workshop book it doesn't seem to much difference apart from clutch master cyl has a push rod, and pedal box has been spacered out

A while back I fitted a Momo Tuner wheel. As mine is an NA without cruise I got a bog standard momo boss to go with it. Everything works fine (and looks pretty damn good) but occasionally it makes a really loud noise when I'm turning the wheel. It sounds like its to do with the indicator cancellation switch or something but the click is way to loud and it feels like something is going to get broken! Anyone encountered this before? Cheers David

Hi, I've got the chance to get a TT at a good price, but it has some probs. Its been bumped at slow speed and its bent the front bumper, dented the bonnet and dented the wing, along with cracking one of the headlights. Its an auto, recently rebuilt engine and gearbox with silicon hoses and some other minor mods. The car has no mechanical damage, only bodywork, question is, how much am I looking at to get replacement parts assuming that they cant be knocked back into shape by a body shop. So, if your collective experience, how much for the bonnet, wing and headlight? or would it be a better idea to transfer the engine into my NA. Any advice welcome. Che…

Hi All, I've noticed that my front right tyre is wearing bad on the inner tread. I know that the problem could be my camber angle but is there anything else on the Z that goes which can cause this problem. Also when i have had to brake sharpe, i 'somtimes' get a rather large clunck from under the front of the car. Cheers ;)

im replacing my stock wheel with a momo evo millennium and have run into problems. im trying to work out what to do with the momo boss. i've removed the original wheel, opened up the plastic surround and unscrewed the unit with the black 'dial' on the front (i think this is the hicas sensor???) and behind that is a white plastic unit with a few wires (obv. horn/hicas/cruise) coming from beneath. (sorry im trying to upload photos but my software is messing me about! ) there doesn't seem to be anywhere for the momo boss to go. i suspect it's for a Z31 (a la halfords catalogue) but the chap spoke to momo direct and they assured him they would send me a Z32. im …

I need some advice on the best way to go with this. I have a UK manual TT and have just been informed by my local garage that the seals on the underside of the car are rusted through. They have suggested that its more of a restoration job than a couple of panels, the hold underside of the car needs to be re-done. Has anyone had this problem? Should I cut my losses and buy another zed or get the job done? will it ever be in tip top shape once old rusty has taken hold? The engine is in tip top shape. Any input is appreciated. A helpless newbie.
