I was hoping to get Thor to set the controller up for me but want to be sure I have all the bits to make the most of it. Injectors are standard, not ready to go up to 550cc just yet so want to maximise the potential from the standard ones and make sure I am not risking anything in terms of det.

only recently got the car no real probs as yet ( fingers crossed ) are there any links to se how to use this self diagnostics every body talks about by the way dont know 1 end of a spanner from the other any help is much appreciated :bow:

Hi guys, It looks like its my turn to get the curse :cry: :cry: Over the last 24 hours the autobox started playing up. I noticed it began to rev higher than usual before changing up, and now it doesnt go any higher than 2nd. :( Oddly enough when I select '2' it seems to give normal pulling power, but when in 'D' it revs high and doesnt give me much movement (as if the clutch was half pressed in on a manual) I noticed the oil pressure gauge was running higher than usual when the box was running into difficulties (over 4kg when it's normally 2 or 3) Ive searched the forum and found a couple of things to check but am not sure about how to check the autobox flui…

have any of u out there heard of vredestein tyre's just called in a place on way home from work and for 265/35 zr 18y £150 fitted balanced etc. they said they match them agianst bf goodrigde. good buy or 2000 miles then back for some more?.

Ive been offered a 300 ZX in exchange for my car and was hoping for some advice as I know very little about 300ZXs. I havnt seen the car yet but will post more details once Ive seen it and try and get some pictures. Heres the details I know: 300ZX Non Turbo Manual Import Short Wheel Base Non Leather Seats Gun Metal Grey Sports Back Boxs 90/91 G Years Mot 6 Months Tax My car is a 95M Golf Gti 16v with coilovers, drilled disks, induction kit and 17 wheels with good tyres - 77K on the clock. Only defect I hear about the 300 is that it rear spoiler is flacking. Would like to know the performance figures for the Non turbo 300zx…

It seems that every Zed owner and his dog has had rough running at some point, but I thought I'd ask the question in case these are characteristic symptoms.... Up to a minute or so after fire-up, the engine seems fine. Once it's warmed up a little I get the following problem: With the engine below 3000rpm and at low load, the engine note doesn't seem quite right and under light acceleration the car will judder/jolt. However, somewhere between 2500 and 3000rpm it will suddenly sort itself out and run smoothly. Similarly if you put your foot down below 3000, it will pull smoothly up through the revs. When thoroughly warm, the problem's less apparent, but…

Ok people need some advice i would like more power and would still like the reliability of a daily driver if thats possible car is stock at the moment just decatted and hks exhaust only mod fitted that i know of is a fast road autobox :rolleyes:

I bought some T25 turbos off of ebay (they were new but never fitted to his 300zx) and having them fitted today they don't fit. They fit engine side, but going to the exhaust they connections are too big. Anyone any idea why??? Surey a 300zx turbo is the same no matter what age/country etc it's for? They came from universal turbos.

After getting my £320 wheel refurb quote I have been trawling ebay for some new alloys. I spotted a coulpe of people selling lots of alloys (of the same type i think, DGT), see the links below: set 1 set 2 What do people think? Too good to be true? I am on a low budget and would like to stick to 16" wheels. A). so I dont have to buy new tyres and B). the roards are quite bad around my area and the Z clatters around enough with its jap suspension & 16" wheels... Barry

Trying to help a mate out, he installed a Profec E01 the other day and is having trouble boosting above 7psi and the display won't show RPM! I had a look at some of the settings and could not see any problems! Any Ideas

Can anyone help me out here, someone sold me a car yesterday which was described as a good runner in the advertisement. I drove it home which was about 12 miles followed by a further 2 miles to work this morning only to find that it had dumped almost all it's water. Not only that, I later went to the car when it was cold, opened the radiator cap, released any pressure. I then put the cap back, ran the car for a minute & released the cap & the thing exploded there was so much pressure in the cooling system. It's pretty obvious that the head gasket has gone. Heading South in a Fiat Punto

I was wondering if it makes a big difference using the n/a clutch pedal box without the booster servo, if it does make the pedal a lot heavier then is the n/a pedal box able to accomodate the booster servo later on or is it a totally different pedal box, cos looking at workshop book it doesn't seem to much difference apart from clutch master cyl has a push rod, and pedal box has been spacered out

Anyone here ever fitted one of these. Ive just fitted one on my missuses 200sx and it dont work :( Got it from Ebay. Plumber it in - Im hoping correctly - and nothing. It has 2 vacuum feeds - one on top and one at the back - are these meant to be teed together then plumbed into the vac line?
