Quoted about £155 for part but they say there isnt one in the uk! So any of you traders got one? car is 89 tt z32 and I need the near side one. Also failed on tyres which I half suspected. Thoughts on which ones (not too dear!) (255 40 17) Thanks!

Any help would be much appreciated. Basically my car has been stored in a garage for a few months and I went to run it a little while ago and is was misfiring on one of the cylinders I checked the plugs they are ok I even swapped them round and it was still the same cylinder, I did the same for the coil packs and it still turned out to be the same cylinder ive checked the wires and they all seam to be ok. Last week I went to start the car again and as soon as I connected the positive jump lead the car started by itself with no key in the ignition! So I disconnected the leads and it continued to run. I put the key in the ignition and removed it and it still ran, so …

What can I do to pep up my higher mileage Z? These repairs can improve performance. Over the past year or so, I had been feeling that my 90TT Z Stage III had slowly been getting a little sluggish. It seemed to be running okay though, so I thought maybe it was all in my head. It was one of those things that happened so subtley and slowly that I didn't notice it. Recently I took it in for a couple of different minor problems: Dipping idle on deceleration and when in neutral at high speeds. My mechanic discovered my EGR Valve and both PCV Valves where in a state of COMPLETE failure. Additionally, many of the 10 short little rubber hoses between the intake m…

Been on the Greddy site for instructions on the ProfecB and what I can make out is that if you tee both actuator pipes together and run the tail of this to "com" on the solenoid that should be o.k. Then take a pipe from the boost side of things[ie balance bar]and run this to the control box. Now the querie, can I simply take the electrical connectors off the original solenoidsand if so do I have to remove/replace any pipes connected to them or simply plug them up? Cheers! ;)

I've since looked in a uk handbook...but my z is a jap import and the warning light is not shown in the uk handbook...is there a site anywhere that shows what all the lights are 4 on a jap import dash... Oh P.s the light looks like as a image of a back box or somthing on it with squigley lines above and pos below it...hope this helps

right boost jets. 1.0mm took of the 2 inner main hoses that goto the throttle body. directly below this is a small pipe theat connects to the same area as the main hose just i bit lower down where a petal pipe comes off. this hose seems to go along the side of the engine then dissapears down about half way along i guess to the turbos. cut a section of this pipe out. installed a section of blue silicone hose from smithy with boost jet in using inline connectors and some jubilee clips put all other bits together. checked using my tim guage and getting 0.7 - 0.75 bar decide to redo so this time connect a longer piece of silicone tubing straight from meta…

not really ready to start 300zx gulf war 2 BUT, running castrol 10w60 and going to switch oil at weekend for winter driving engine details : 120,000 miles on the heads, slight "squeal" from one lifter when cold, but goes after 5 minutes of warming up (fixing in spring) turbos and small engine (pistons/blcok) have about 60,000 miles on them now mainly short journeys, not really driven hard in the winter and do about 100miles a week. anyone got any suggestions? better get in quick before this thread turns to shit :D

My air con pump doesnt work - so i dont use it, as it is pointless on a targa top anyway. however this is my problem : I got in the car the other day an pulled away and water came pissing down inside the car from behined the dash on the passenger side (over the ecu area) - there was loads of it but after a while (5 secs) it stopped. I thought maybe we had heavy rain and somehow it had worked its way through a line in the bulk head, however - the next day i garaged it over night (no rain etc) and the same thing happened again when i drove out of my garage. It feels and smells just like normal water - which is why i mentioned the bit about my air con pump not work…

Going to be fitting my Apexi induction kit this weekend. Is it just a matter of removing the 2 air boxes and fitting the Apexi straight onto the AFM? I don't need to worry about any sensors of any kind do I? Cheers, David

Got a bit of an odd one, my main interior light refuses to work and (after seeing smithys blue conversion) I have realised that my control clusters either side of the steering wheel dont light up either (never have) and also the auto gear numbers which used to work.checked fuses and they are all good (clock and map lights still work and thats on the same fuse as I remember). pulled a couple of the bulbs from the cluster and they are there and intact (may have had a blue conversion done as they have funny little blue rubber covers on them?!?!?!?) Did a search and other than checking the fuse couldnt find anything that may be the cause. its a '90 tt auto, if that …

i was coming back from hospital the other day in the morning, and approached a roundabout, when i slowed down, my zed started to stuble (misfire etc.) Left exhaust is making a popping sound like sumting is stuck in side it..... so i have checked all the connections....... i traced the problem to the last to injectors on the passenger side are not working, i have tried to change the coil pack, around and it makes no difference. tried a known working PTU but car will not start.... The car is constantly misfiring, cold and hot, what could be possiably wrong. When the car first started to do this i seen a fuel leak near the second coil pack from the passenger side…

How long do you allow for a TT to warm up? My Jap import 90 TT feels rough and vibratory for about 5-10 mins.It really lets you know it doesn't want to be pushed. After this its smooth and powerful. This is in an ambient temperature overnight of 24 deg C! Even though this Z is low mileage (73000 klms) I still had to fix all the usual problems of corroded engine electrical connections and dirty throttle bodies (Sussed by reading this forum) as it ran very rough when I bought it 2 months ago. Do you Z guys in the UK have to pussyfoot your cars until they are warmed up?
