Well got greeted today by an unmarked vectra flashing its blues & sounding its nasty two tone horn. Then a rather tall ? got out wearing black & white clothing and a massive smug grin."good afternoon sir, nice motor,do you know what I've pulled you for? . In my mind "gee let me think ,I'm driving something a bit different & your a TO**ER". Boy were my thoughts right ,he said the glass to the front of my A posts was too dark. I told him the car had been bought with this film already fitted but he was not interested. He said it should allow 70% of light through it .He then lowered the window and placed his gadget on it and took great satisfaction in telling me m…

question ive just fitted my blitz SBC-ID and powermeter, thanks to zedhot, but im having difficultys with the powermeter. it gives usefull stuff like speed, power, various timing stuff. on the speed side the speed digital screen seems to make accurate readings till about 70 then jumps around and hesitates. the next screen down from that is the power and speed screen which shows both in one screen. the speed on this is reading what my dash speedo reads, which is mile out as i think the converter is buggered eg shows im doing 120mph when im doing about 80. the result of this is it is totally messing up my power readings, apparently my max power is over 1000bhp. t…

Can anyone help, does anyone know where I can get a decent replacment engine for my UK Manual 300ZX TT - i don't need turbo's as I had 2 new one's only a year ago. It's gonna be cheaper for me to do this than try and trace what we all thought was a head gasket problem. After stripping the engine down they were fine so there is obviously a major problem somewhere else. Oil getting into the water somewhere!!!

I was driving home from work tonite or stuck in traffic to be truthful when my Z cut out. I would not start it again but all seamed to be ok. Pushed it to the side of the road and waited for recovery. When he arrived it started first time ran for 5 min then stopped again. 10 min later same again???? Seems to be heat related? Got it going again and drove 7 miles home sat out side my house for 15 min all fine. I know Z's suffer from dodgy plugs under the bonnet but anyone know were to start looking?
