Is there a water bottle somewhere in the boot for the rear window washer? or did I have a dream about it or summat! :confused: just to see if I can put my mind at rest and also to see if the back washer window could have a wash. cheers

Hello all, Could someone shed some light on this for me please: On a cold start up (left over night) the Hicas light comes on and stays on until the car gets warm ???? then doesnt come on again and this is the only time it does it when the car is fully cold???? Private plate (started TIS I think). Looked like non-original bright yellow with High level rear spoiler. Only saw briefly travelling the other direction.

what size water hoses and how much will I need to do the throttle body by-pass?

Any ideas? Just been to get in the car and put the sounds on, but there seems to be no power at all to the headunit, the power arial doesn't go up, no power to the amp... nothing. It worked fine 2 hours ago... I've checked all the fuses I can see, but no problems there? Where is the fuse for the stereo normally? I couldn't see it labelled on the fuse holder cap? Any help would be appreciated cheers

Saw a Red zed on M23 junction before gatwick north bound on Sunday at 14.00 was it any one from here 2 guys standing with the car black focus flashed but i dont think you noticed. :confused:

Just had some hoses changed on the power steering, as there was a slight leak. Now I am getting a intermittent loss of power assistance while driving, most disconcerting, OK while stationary and at very low speed. Just goes and comes back again whhile driving, not a complete loss just gets noticably heavier! Could it be air in the system? or something else? Was all ok before hoses changed!

Can anyone advise of a compatible battery for the Zed? My local places dont know what a Zed is! Cheers ED :nana2:

My daily driver is an old J plate Sierra 2.0 ghia. It's got about 86,000 on the clock (got all the receipts) and has been good as gold all year I've owned it. The other week I noticed a 'squeeky rattle' every time I pressed the clutch pedal and thought I'd get it looked at some time soon......then of course it let me down in the high street during rush hour.POO! :x: It would not select any gear, until I switched off, put it in gear and re-started the engine. It then worked OK while I limped it 200 yards down the road to a handy garage (owned by some 'friends' of mine :xxx: ) They said that not only had the clutch gone, but also the 'spiggot' bearing behind the flyw…

^^^ Long title I know :D As title, when you fitted it, how much did you have to modify the intercooler ducts? (As per my previous post regarding the info I found in the US.) Or did you ??? ;) Any other tips I need to know, or is it a case of nothing more than fitting a standard one? All probably silly questions, but I like to be fore-armed, if you know what I mean? ;) TIA

Just filled up my windscreen washer fluid as it was empty. Put a couple of litres in and thought I'd fill it up all the way. However, it took a couple more litres and I noticed it pissing out onto the garage floor. Seems to be coming out somewhere directly under the filler :( Is there an overflow somewhere or could it be my headlight washer system which was disconnected when the 99 front end went on? What power do TT Zeds put out as standard! :headvswal I know there is specualtion that J spec have more power than UK and vice versa. And then there is Auto v Manual. Then of course, colour makes a big difference :dance: What do you lot reckon my 1990 J spec Manual TT in RED :bow: would be pushing out when new in standard trim? Anyone got any official Nissan figures for all this. anyone know where to go to see 1/4 miles run times and dyno tests on the Z ??

I've asked similar before but I can't find the thread. Where would others recommend for a full service of my Z, I live in Dudley, west Mids but would travel a little for a good centre. Next pardon my ignorance but what and where are the platinum plugs on the Z? What price are they for replacement? Finally there are a couple of things that need tidying up on my Z now the winter has caught up with it, can anyone recommemd a Z friendly bodyshop.

white z on A205 going west toward south london on tuesday evening about 5 pm

When i start my car from cold it revs its self up and down, sometimes as high as 3000 rpm. Then when its warm its fine. It never used to do this. Does any one know what could cause this??? :confused:

Nothing major this one but since ive put the dash back in my heater (no matter what temp its on) permanently blows hot air !! Even if you notch it down to 10 degrees ! Now either i have a disease or houston has a problem ! Any ideas on this one gents ?

Has anyone got any tips on stopping the condenation build up inside my car over the winter months? Cheers Vijay
