Can anyone help I am looking for are placement ringgear , As the starter motor seems to have riped half the teeth of off mine, its for a TT auto import 91, accord to the mechanic it will need to be a whole unit including the fly wheel, any advise will be thankfully recieved Ta Rooster

I'm assuming Z wheels should have 5 bolts / studs (I can't clearly remember even though it's only a week since I dropped mine off), but does anybody know what the pitch circle diameter is? Cheers, Bart

Hi, in the last week or so im getting a low idling as if the car is about to cut out , fluctuates between 5/700 revs . Fine while im driving it, its only when the engine's warmed up and i stop at lights etc. Ran the diagnostic and im getting 55 all clear.Any ideas? :confused:

I was talking to a mate of mine the other day who runs a G reg non ABS Z - and he doest seem to get the crap brake fade at high speed that im getting. Frankly sometimes it seems as though my ABS is just rediculous and im not going to stop in time for the roundabout ahead. Is this a common problem with ABS models ? If so - whats the best way of sorting that abs out ? I have got EBC Pads, and Rotora Braided lines -so my brakes at low speed are great - but on the motorway they are awful - any views/ideas ? :confused:

Hi Guys, I am struggling to find any wheels that fit the car, so far ive come across mania racing vortex. Does anyone know of some others i could look at and do you have pictures of them on the car at all?? Cheers, Dan.

Car over heated again due to a blown head gasket. Started the engine from cold and i've got a rattle coming from the engine. Oil pressure is low and it doesn't sound good. Any ideas. Nick

had a bitch of a day,fitted a sgp pulley an encountered problems on the way 1/the ajuster nut on the alternator rounded of so to get to it comfortably i removed the alternator took 1-30 mins to replace due to the fact refitting of alternator from engine bay is almost impossible,did it in the end replaced new belt job done 2/new problem the a/c idler pulley wont come loose the 14mm nut has completly rounded off WTF need to remove it to set the tension!! so anyone know what i can do other than beat it,cut it off! been along day :smash:

...on Sunday. Saw they around dinner time'ish on the Stoke/Shelton Roundabout where all the roadworks are going on. The Z had a rear light conversion and the S13 had a few bits done to it too. Both looked very tastey!

Just been asked what fuel pressure my NA Zed is ! I havent got a clue - is it always the same at full throttle or half throttle ?? Any ideas what it is ? I need it to calculate my nitrous jet size ! Thanks for any help peeps

The zed is fitted with a kmh->mph converter chip on the speedo. It is causing the steering to go lighter and the autobox is all over the place. Yesterday I disconnected the whole cluster and we tried it out, now the autobox was shifting much better but still a little late, but after a minute or 2 the steering went dead heavy, but went normal again after turning off and back on, maybe thats because the cluster is disconnected. Im not sure. I found this last night (i think it was vijay who posted it, cant find it again though, doh!) and it is wired up differently to ours. On ours the red and black wire are the same but the orange and green are yellow and grey o…

Help guys!! I was installing the 1990-91 Nissan 300ZX Z32 Turbo White Face Glow Dials of E-Bay. After realising that the gauges didn't fit, I put the old ones back on. Now the Temp needle and rev needle does not work!! I thought this would just automatically re-ajust its self, but i was wrong. Can anyone help?? Paul

Hi- does anyone have experience of these? If so, what are the benefits? I have a apxi safc (for twin maf set-up)& avcr to be fitted eventually, will a wideband sensor work with this? What state of tune is it suited to? all advice appreciated

Some time back a nice man put a note under the windscreen...he'd seen a lady reverse into the front of my zed...and he'd be a witness to the fact should there be any damage/claim so my garage put the zed up in the air and looked under the bumper...it was split and had cracked where it's mounted to the slam bar and a few bits n bobs were bent all exactly where the man described it being struck...so i filed a report with the police who have now traced the owner who first denied being there at all but faced with a detailed description from my witness the police have given her a written warning and supplied me with all her details so do i a) hand it over to my insurers?…

has anyone here sprayed there rocker covers?? i know there made of alluminium and theres some heat in these engines so what primer and paint should i be using, would love to have them blue!!

I'm due to change my front pads this week. I still have stock discs and cant afford to uprate at the mow. So which are the best pads at the moment. I hear the new ebc red stuff are pretty good? Cheers. Nick
