Normally my KNK value sits at zero, but after a long drive (well, about 45 mins) it starts to creep upward after about 30 mins. When idling at the lights, it has gone as high as 35, but when i apply some throttle either in neutral or in gear it drops down again to mid 10's. What does this mean and do I need to be worried about this? Cheers.

Been checking through past posts and have come to the conclusion that my PTU (yes, s1) has failed. I remember seeing on some tech help thing how to open the PTU and check for bad connectors and was wondering can you tell by looking at the inside whether it has definately gone? Below is a description of what happened to my car so you can maybe help me find the problem Driving car. Randomly a water hose came off and engine over heated a tad before i could pull over. re-filled the water and re-attatched hose. Started ok when i tried it first time (30mins after stopping). Engine ran fine for about 10mins then started to lose power and then cut out completely (about 40mph…

Hello everyone, I'm rebuilding my engine at this moment. I'm using Greddy 89mm forged pistons and Eagle H-beam forged rods. Several people told me that I should use a bit more clearance on all the bearing(crankshaft, rods, pistonpin) because of the high powerlevel(600-650hp). Does this sound familiar with you guys or is it complete nonsense and should use the standard clearances as prescribed in the manual?? Thanks in advance, -Jerome(the Netherlands)

Hi guys Noticed on one of your profiles (SYKO) that you had crome gauge rings. Are these the rings round the speedo and rev counter? If so, where did you get them from. Also i have a set of indiglo plasma dials for a TT for sale or swaps. They read upto 160mph and are in A1 boxed condition. Many Thanks Karl

Gents, I am giving some serious consideration to buying a 300 ZXTT having seen one in a dealer near work. Fell in love with it (although wont be buying that particular one) straight away. But I'm a bit concerned about age, wear, mileage, etc. Are there any common problems I should be aware of when looking for one?? Cheers

hi again. just been out in the garage messing with the Z think im onto a winner with the det sensor. when i measure one of the tails to earth i get 549k ohms the other one seems to be open circuit. does this mean its fookt? i get +4.8V across the ecu tails and one of them is dead short to earth. i tried to frig out the sensor with a 2Meg pot adjusted to 1meg but it didnt work, i take it the resistance has to be exactly 1meg to go healthy? will get a 1meg resistor 2mrrw and have another go when im in a better humour
