Is There Some Sort Of Vacuum Pressure Release Valve For The Fuel Tank? Went To Fill Up Today And The Fuel Cap Was Being Sucked On Harder Than Linda Lovelace! Drove Home About 3 Miles And Vacuum Was Back Again. Must Be Giving The Fuel Pump A Hard Time.

There,s been a lot of people praise these pads , my question is , are they a good upgrade on standard discs and callipers ? I,m needing to renew mine so i would rather get some ones that work better than standard ( as i found out approaching a island a bit quick !! nearly shat my pants :shock: ) or can anybody reccomend others that they have used. thanx allan

Just done a search not found anything usefull only 4 links which do not relate to the settings to much. Im reading thru the manual and the first step is to set the Solenoid Valve Duty Cycle: Its says Drive in a gear with heavy load....... How on earth do you do that in an automatic??? :headvswal :headvswal Can anyone be so kind as to gve me the settings they are running as my cars got serious detting and fuel cutting at 60mph.. Need those black plastic vents beneath the front windscreen with rubber seals on as well if poss, push in plugs and fixings needed as well, full length of the screen.In black.

Went to drive home last night from the movies, car was dead. Got AA to jump start it, and that got me home. Tried it again this morning, dead. Got a new battery, installed and as i was connecting the + terminal, noticed a fe sparks and a popping sound. Connected it and then tried to start car. Heres the symptoms: Turn key and I get POWER dash Light and the AIRCON fan goes, no lights on dash or aircon. No indicators or wipers, Headlights ok. No stereo etc. Car sounds like it's trying to start and just wont catch. Whats also strange is that the power seat works but all the controls are reversed!!!! checked all fuses , they seem ok. where's the best place to get the redline mt90 gearbox oil from as I 'm told that is the best for manual boxes instead of the ep90. Richard

1)what is the main purpose of the fan shroud , i assume its to cirulate the air round the engine bay and the should keeps it directioned towards the block, but does it really make that much dirrerence , id have thought with the bonnet shut it does the same thing pretty much. but advise needed pls 2) a mate has said that if i get a different fan, same size but with more blades it will improve the cooling , is this right??

Noticed a bit of an odd problem today, whilst hooning around the car felt a little sluggish and I noticed that Im only getting around 5-6psi of boost, bugger i think, either a boost leak or safety boost (possibly from dett as its a bloody hot day...) stop for a little and have a check over the visible TB and IC air pipes, no obvious problems so I carry on my merry way, problem now gone, back to pull 9psi.... little further down the road, im now only getting 5-6... arse... turns out that if I stop the car and switch off, then start again I'm back to full boost, but not for very long!! ECU diag comes back with 55 so all clear as far as the dett/knock sen…

i have a zed 1994 uk auto when the car gets warm the box doesn't select 1st it starts from 2nd gear if i put it in 1st manually the gear box slips and when i give it more revs (quite a few more) it bangs into gear very hard lunging the car forward any help would be great

does anyone sell front fog lights that fit a uk 300zx to replace the fake ones in the front bumper. also interested in a second rear fog to replace the fake one in the rear bumper, i'm asuming i can just buy another standard uk one and fit it instead of the blank? thanks

I am thinking of buying a 300zx and took an imported no turbo out for a spin today and liked the little beast ! (i aint a fast driver so the turbo thing dont bother me too much) so, to the burning qustion............ oil pressure and what should it say on the needle on the clock when the car is on idle ? and also at about 4000 rpm ?. As the one i took for a spin was just showing past the first mark on tickover and just over the second mark at 4000 rpm, its a 1991 fairlady with 90000miles on the clock. It dont seem right that the gauge should read that low but i realy dont know ?. :confused:

Hello peeps, just wondering if anyone can give me some advice as I am hoping tomorrow to take my tailgate off and replace with another with the high spoiler on to save me on having my old spoiler removed and filled and painted. So is removing this a big job like everything else or should it be a question of a few bolts etc. Thanks all Ant
