Come on then, own up, who was it that I saw hooning around on my turf?!? ;) She was red, but had a black nose, and had a rather large high tail :D I gave chase, but she spun around and doubled back on herself giving me the slip. I reciprocated but, alas, she already had a nozzle in her neck when I saw her next :eek: :x: :D (at the garage - Optimax, I presume!) On the B4114 between Croft and Stoney Stanton, pulled into the Shell garage opposite The Mill On The Soar pub - any takers?!?

Hi All, I have asked this before, sort of, I have a noise from my TT, sounds similar to a big end just starting to go, its there when you blip the throtle to around 3+K and back. After some thinking/scratching heads etc I stripped the bottom end to check the bearings, and they are all good. Engine is very clean inside too. now I am stuck. ITS NOT lifters, injectors etc. I have a slight bit of piston slap, always have had, and its not that that I am talking about. Any ideas?

Hello, Been thinking today about some previous threads mentioning how mesh on a lot of aftermarket bumpers really restrict the airflow over the ICs and Radiator. I've got a 99 spec front end with quite a fine mesh over ICs and Rad, noticed that on a warm day like today the temperature does tend to creep up when cruising at high speeds (100-110ish) (on my private test track!!) Am I right in saying the effect of the mesh would be worse at higher speeds? Although it wouldnt look as nice and of course I would run the risk of getting damage to the ICs or Rad from debris is it worthwhile for the cooling to remove the mesh? :confused: cheers Dave

Hi Guys im new to this site so hi to all! Ive had my Z tt for about 2 yrs, but for most of this time its been sat on the drive as ive just tinkered with it. It now has full cream leather, front rear and side skirts, 18" Hi Jon Alloys, plus a few little extras. Ive recently started using it and have noticed something rather strange! When you first drive the car (cold) at around 30-65mph there is a bad vibration through the entire car, so bad in fact, the other day I could feel my jaw shaking!, however, the car doesnt rattle? After about 10mins or so and the car has warmed up, the vibration seems to improve, or maybe im just becoming imune to it? …

Yes I know this is meant for ZED's but I really need help as no one so far has been able to help me!!!! And I know that 300zx people are top people when it comes to helping each other out.!!!! I have a supra 94 Model non Turbo, and the bloody clutch has gone, does anyone know where I can get a clutch for the non turbo manual. THANKS HELP WILL BE MUCH APPRECIATED.....

Took a trip to Brighton yesterday to give my kids a day out- left the Z behind, and having locked it up and alarmed her, of we went. On my return find I'm cursed, cant find the keys to the z anywhere, presumably down some drain in Brighton, problem is I now need a lock set, a new immobiliser and alarm in pretty short order as the Z is my daily driver. I have only one key that fits the ign and drivers door, and can't find the key that de-activates the alarm. The immobiliser only had one doodab as thats how it was when I bought it. Any suggestions anyone know anyone who might be able to help with this little lot. TA in advance. :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry:

Anyone know where there is an exploded veiw/pic of the wiper assembly arms that are under the cowling ? with part no's would be even better :bow: Some kinda knuckle joint has just fell apart and the wipers don't move, but one of the arms underneath does :( cheers smithy

himy zx cut out the other day after hitting a large pot whole and now there is no life on the injection side has it got an cut out switch anyware :dance:

After Trying To Track Down An Engine Stumble, I Did A Diagnostic Check As Per The Steve Chong Article And Found That The Left O2 Sensor Is Flashing Very Slowly On The Ecu, (about Twice Every 10 Secs). The Right One Seems Ok At 5 Flashes/10 Secs. Does This Mean The Left Sensor Is Shot Or A Bad Connection? Where Are They And How Easy Are They To Change?

ok my body kit is veilside except the front end,now i have a blown indicator bulb and it looks like im gona have to rip the whole front end off to change it.When the car was put together they skipped on the pop out front lights/indicators...and mounted the standered 1s behind the panel itself.i cant get behind the bumper cos the intercooler takes up all the room.so to change the STUPID fu#in bulb im gona have to take the front right off.. PLEASE can any1 tell me what make the front end is and where i can scource the proper lights that fit the wholes provided so this dosnt happen again.

hi anyone need one of these? I made these for my last z which had nothing in the lower stereo compartment. Originally i set up the machine to make 20 or so in different forms as i didnt know how they'd turn out. I inserted one into the facia panel with an l.e.d. backlight and it looked pretty cool and not a bit tacky. My new Z has the BOSE logo which i want to keep original. So as they're no use to me now , anyone who sends me a padded envelope ( they are made from glass and resin) with their address inside can have one free!!

Fitted and what? I am in a bit of quandre! My seats need recovering but it is cheaper to fit aftermarket seats. I have been looking at cobra daytonas.......... but no one can tell me if they fit the Z, but you can try universal subframes!! any body tried this and if so how did it turn out? cheers Dave
