have u noticed once the air con is removed that no matter how low u set the tempreture u set the heater too, its always hot!! also behind the radio section and where the 2 small vents are abouve its always pretty hot too. ...this normal ??

Hi guys, i'm in the process of replacing the two pipes connected to the metal pipe that holds both temp senders. I obviously need to re-seal the metal pipe to the block and was wonderin if anyone had ideas on a decent gasket sealant to use?? Rich :rolleyes:

Hi all i am currently debating wether to sell my MK3 Supra, Ive been a member of the supra owners club for over a year and had a great time i currently have a 1990 Jap Spec 2.0 Twin Turbo Targa (Very Rare) with a few good mods, however im getting a bit bored with them and thought about moving onto to a 300ZX, Before i do my usual which is charge off and buy something i know jack about i thought i would ask on here for some advice. My User name speaks for itself as thats what im looking for, can anyone give me any points on what to look out for when buying one, Im looking for one i can just get in and drive( modded would be nice ) but im open to any in good condition.…

Hi guys!! My cooling fan on my Zed is always on, it spins when i start her up and then stops until she is at workin temp and then starts again and increases in speed when reving :confused: It makes her sound like a landrover or something!! To be honest the sound does'nt bother me but just wanted to know wether it was normal or not? I know that these machines run at very high temp and that she is an import maybe something to do with it!! :headvswal

can anyone please help me? i have a uk tt manual. it has a noisey top end, i have driven the car (150 miles) it has been 110mph , i was standing for a while so i hoped it may have been a blockage that would clear it self. i have had the oil changed i have put some hydraulic lifter treatment in too. this did quieten things down it only sounds like a diseal now instead of a tractor! the garage it is at say it may be an oil starvation problem, however it has good oil pressure the sump is not damaged either. if you remove the oil cap with engine running it appears that no oil is making it to the the top. i am pulling my hair out here. if i cant fix it to cheaply i will have …

the power steering is hard sometimes and the speedo is going up and down all the time.I've changed the speed sensor and was still the same so i bought a new speed convertor as well which i just fited now but stiil doing the same thing . i just dont know what's wrong so i need a bit of help guys pleaseee

Hi, Been getting power steering problems lately and praying it's not the pump :confused: It's generally being inconsistent, But just noticed it's worse the warmer the engine. Fluid level seems fine as I know these are prone to leaks. Also i've had the universal joint go on previous Z's which just feels completely different. This time it's going stiff/smooth on a turning circle. Sometimes it's fine. Is there anything else i can check?

Hi Guys I need to touch up some stone ships etc. However, my local Nissan dealer says that the paint I'm after (Diamond Black Pearl code 732G) is no longer produced. Does anyone know where I can get some of this stuff? Cheers Jon

hi there guys i'm in need of some major help. I bought a set of downpipes and decat pipes for my jap spec 1991 300zx manual twin turbo and get fitted. I bought a the set from ebay from a seller in the US, they seem like the standard set that everyone gets i think. Anyway, my friend had a look today and says it doesnt look like they will fit, he says the standard pipes have an extra pipe going into them and the downpipes which i bought dont have a hole for that. I'm totally lost at the moment. Can someone give me some advice on how to get these on. i have a jap tt and on the bumper it has this thing that looks like it could be an areial, when i bought it the bloke said he thinks it was something to do with sat nav but now i aint so sure, there is a button on the centre consol that when pushed it makes the areial thing whirr an thats it. any idea's on what it is? :confused:

Hi all, having a bit of a problem, and thought someone might be able to shed some light on the situation :) My Zed won't go over 140. I've tried it with OD on and off! Took it to my Local Zed place (really helpful btw - Samurai Performance) and they kindly put the Conzult on it, did all the tests, came up Code 55. No history of errors either. He did a cylinder test and all that, things that I had no idea what it meant lol. All that happens is that it gets to 140 bloody fast, then hits the rev limiter, the dump valves make a sound like a train lol as it hits the limiter. It feels like it needs another gear. Weird! It's not like I do over 140 all the ti…

Done the PCV and hose swap last week along with a few other non engine related jobs. Car seems to run really well and smooth, better in fact, however the revs have now jumped up when cold to just under 2000 revs and when warm to just over 1000 revs, so do i just alter the adjustment screw by passenger TB when engine is warm and will this dramtically drop the revs for me when cold.? ideas as always most welcome fellas. cheers smithy

Hi just wondering if somone could put some light on a problem i have with my passenger electric seat. The seat goes backward and forward fine. The problem is with the incline and the decline. I have just took the seat out with electrics connected and took off the switch cover. I then checked it with my fluke and have power going through when the switch is operated. So then i disconnected the plug halfway across the bottom to check for power and it was there. So where is the fookin motor?? Is it in the seat itself cus thats where the wires go?! HI just got my windows tinted . But now i'm thinking of ripping it off even though it cost me 200 euro. Its red (please don't make this a colour issue :rolleyes: ), and i thought the red/(almost black) thing would complement the car................but i'm not too sure. Havn't had time for pics yet, but i've done the rear , and all the side window's. What's worrying me is that driving through town today i was getting thumbs up from schoolkids!!!! i'm thinking they're used to the boy racer image and not actually doing it cos it's a Z :xxx: Maybe if i just removed it from the two front window's??

Could somebody please tell me what the best chip I should use is? I had a Superchip but that was awful so now im running a de-limited standard chip. I have stock injectors,tubs etc and am looking to run a bar of boost. What chip should I use and does anyone have one they want to get rid of? Many thanks BensJammin
