had it fitted today by jonce :bow: the prob we got is in low the bost goes up to9-10 psi then drops to 7? hi no prob. also my autometer boost gauge reading doesnt match that of the profec, just used the pipe supplied with it where as the profec is plumbed in with 4mm hose will i have to change gauge to 4mm? in hi profec reading 113 so 11.3 psi gauge reading 12-13 hard to see when driving lol

Guys, i need some braided brakes lines fitted and oil changed, i should be getting the parts next week. Anyone know of someone near to me (recommended) who could fit and do the change, as people i would normally use have too much on? Im in Billericay, Essex. Cheers, Dan.

going to fit smithys braided fuel line i understand the easiest way to get rid of the fuel pressure,is to pull the fuse in the small fusible link box in front of brake servo does anyone know which one as mine is in jap or a pic of small fuse box in uk ta

I know this is getting old hat now so i apologise in advance but i cant find the previous threads. I've brought some dials from america which read 160mph, my z is an import with 190 kph on, with a mph converter. Can i calibrate my speedo to give the correct reading??? Any ideas or instructions please guys???

hello i brought my z one week ago since then its been in the garage more times then i have had it on my drive..... the problem is the 3rd night i had it driving home from work it started to misfire and loose power to which i had to blip the throttle to get it to go anywhere!! managed to drive it about 2 miles with the problem worsening till i eventially gave up and pulled over switched off engine. when i tried to restart it it wouldnt start i phoned the garage who promptly picked it up took it back to the workshop and tried to start it there no go!! the next morning they went to start it and she fired up straight away and ran lovely to which they kept o…

hi, just seen an upgrade for the ECU on ebay which gives extra 60bhp, and delimits. for 75 quid it seems good value but i'm wondering have any of you guys fitted this type of thing. the guy says he's a zx owner himself so quite possibly a member. Hi, I had to leave the boot open today driving home from town because of an awkward load, and noticed a weird smell, almost like ammonia, coming from the exhaust , thought it was coming from somewhere in town until i was on the open road and noticed it everytime i put the foot down. Its a sports exhaust, dont know the make because it was on the car when i bought it. Any explanation? cheers

Hi guys/dolls [must be politicly correct] Any of you lot fitted the new loom for the coil packs and injectors? Just purchased from courtesy but cant make out how to fit them!!!! seem to have 2 looms with 1 to many coil connectors and the injector loom has only 3 connectors and 2 bullet type connectors. [i have come to the conclusion that they have only sent me one injector loom] Do i cut the new connectors off the new loom and attach them to my existing loom or am i missing something here!!!!!!!!!!!!! cheers Dave

Just went to fit mine (again) as i got an ebay one and the belts wouldnt fit, so i got an sgp one with belts from smithy. BIG problem, the powersteering belt wont fit - its too short Just wondered if we are doing something wrong, as this was the same with the ebay pulley we tried to fit aswell Is there a way to get it to fit ? Im sure its the correct part - and we have taken the PS pump off to give us more play - but it still wont fit !!!!! Please help - as the car is in bits infront of me now Mike

hi guys took my 92 uk zed in to get air con regassed, and they have come back to me saying that i need a conversion to to run on the new gas they now use (R134A) as mine runs on the old gas (R12) is this a common problem? is my only option to get the convertion or is there places that still regas using the old gas? cheers Lee

fellas, when reffiting the cambelt how accurate do the match marks line up?? i fitted the belt and all the lines match up on the sprockets with the belt but on the rear of the belt cover, the dots seem about a few milimeters out, i know its nothing but i should check with you first as it could turn out to be an expensive mistake LOL!!! :rolleyes:

Hi guys im fitting new uprated intercoolers and theres a black tank next to the radiator overflow tank,is it part of the aircon system? The oneon the drivers side was no problem its the pasenger side im having difficulty with.Ive allready removed the aircon comp etc,so if its possible ill bin this as well. Ta

i have a non turbo 300zx but we have put a turbo engine in it, it had a turbo engine already in it when i bought it, it has a non turbo clutch (uprated) and i take it, it will have an N/A ECU and chip, i want an ecu or chip that can handle the power of the turbo and me boosting to 13.7, can anyone help me, already blew up 1st uprated clutch in ten mins......... i need good advice asap and parts if poss (right ecu and chip), clutch on way already. thx if you can you can ring 07867525420 karl
