Odd front brake conversion - Help needed

Hi all,

I want to convert the front brakes on my Impreza turbo  to larger ones. I plan to use Standard STi Subaru discs (295mm) and 300zx calipers as they are much cheaper to buy than the (we know people that have had it done, but they don't know the tech spec).

Does anyone know what sizes the front discs are on the various 300zx models? As I need to know what spec/size caliper I need and from what model.

Any help would be apprecaited :-) Can anyone shed some light on this one?

And if anyone has any for sale you know where to come.... cheers!

Stock TT front Disc sizes are 280mm x 30mm - 5 stud

NA may be smaller, not sure. But TT disc size the same for all years/versions.

I believe you can fit larger discs to the stock caliprs, but Im not sure up to what size. Im sure somebody else will know, but I would imagine its down to specs of the Impreza hub and the Zed calipers mounting points.

Sounds about right then if the impreza discs are slighly larger. I'll start hunting for some TT front calipers... ebay here I come!

Cheers for the info mate,

Nathan
