I thought i'd make the most of yesterday by fitting my american indiglo dials to my imported n/a Z. :headvswal I've followed closely the help guides which have been previously posted but ahhh well here goes.......... I've changed the R10 resistor on the back of the speedo and soldered in a 24K one (quite neatly if i do say so myself) and stuck the new dials over the face of the old ones without removing the needles. On the test drive yesterday all dials worked properly except for the speedometer which now doesnt move at all......... Oh yes and the power steering doesnt work !!!! Are the two connected?????????? Any ideas please guys???????? :confus…

Hi After fitting the speedo chrome dial rings, I had to re-attach a switch that was put on my cluster to operate the rear foglight (attached for SVA purposes). But as I was trying to get the order of the wires right, all my lights stopped working expect for the main beam. :headvswal The side lights, rear lights, instrument lights, front fogs, headlights all are gone. It just switches on the main beam when I turn on the headlights. I've looked at the fuses under the bonnet and they seem fine, could it be one of the relays? If so where do i get them? Is there anything else i can check? Thanks in advance. sonix

Looking into purchasing an Alarm with Remote start at the moment, but a few of the Alarm sellers I have spoken to mentioned that you usually have to purchase an extra Central locking motor unit (available at extra cost when purchasing alarm) with most japanese cars. Anyone know if that is correct for the zed, and why that is ?

been fitting unorthodox pulley today (my most adventurous mechanical attempt yet) and just managed to get the belts back on, ive got the right belts i think!! but they do all seem much tighter than the ones that were on there before but the power steering pulley is about as far right as it goes does this seem right for anyone else thats done this or is it just because they are new?? Hi Just wondered if any one come across this before: Have just put boost controller on car - all was ok for a couple of days - then on journey coming back home I could not get out of gear - as if clutch lever not fully going in.Managed to pull lever out of 5th and went down all gears with a little bit of crunching and got back home. So drive and gearbox and clutch works ok when in gear but unable to get out of gear.Tried bleeding about six times as per manual but no good.No leaks anywhere, plenty of fluid in reservoir.Thought it might be vacuum pipe related but all hoses intact.Any ideas? Thanks Mark

Hi all I'm sure someone with a physics degree will explain this (alas I've forgotten most of my O-level physics ;) ) but as I've just bought a Nismo 13kg rad cap why is it better for the cooling system than the stock 12kg one? Many thanks Richard :D
