Hello all. I as some of you know am new to the ZX world. My question is: What sort of fuel consumption should I be looking at with my ZX? I know it aint gonna do 30 to the gallon. But! what are some of you getting? Its a 1990 jap import TT. I haven't had it long enough to make a good estimate but would say somewhere between 15-20 MPG.

Hmm, in full-on panic mode at the moment, as I'm moving up north tomorrow for a new job, and the car seems to have a problem :'( My mate noticed it first as I was filling up with petrol - there was a sizzling sound in the cabin, and steam started pouring out of the air vents. We popped the bonnet but there was no sign of any steam in the engine bay. Something was leaking above the passenger footwell, soaking the mat in water, possibly slightly oily. I limped home watching the temp gauge - sure enough, it started to rise to max, but a couple of times it just suddenly dropped back to normal, only to rise again. Just before we got home, the cat overheat light came on.…

hi guys just brought new gear knob from the Zcentre, just need to confirm with someone that its just a question of unscrewing the old one and putting the new one on. The reason I ask is that I attempted to unscrew the old one and it doesnt want to budge and before I go all out to unscrew it I wanted to make sure I was doing the right thing. thanks Lee

Just got my car back from Phil at C and S Woods this week, he fitted my KYB Shocks, Eibach Springs, Camber and Castor Arms, Lightweight pulley set and fixed a boost leak, new timing belt pulleys and belt and painted my timing belt cover. Superb job as always. Took the car over to Nottingham 4 wheel alingment today, got it all aligned correctly, car is now driving better than its ever has done. Roof off for the first time this year, car didnt miss a beat. These people were recommended to me by BeeGeeVinz and did a great job, also they can do upto 24" wheels. http://www.alignment-services.co.uk Barry.

Im looking to fit a zcentre tailgate skin this month, and I want to have a go at removing old spoiler then doing the fitting and prepping myself, then take it bodyshop just to be sprayed. I have never done any form of Bodywork sanding, filling, preperation before, so Im looking for advice from those that have done this themselves ? ...or is this likely to be beyond somebody with no previous experience ? Any advice, tips, suggestions....etc Anybody take pictures of the process ? Thanks

Hi, my son has aS13, (and an R33 GTR on the boat) he thinks he has seen brackets to convert S13's to take the 300z caliper and then to suit an M3 disc (rotor). If this is true, then these brackets would convert the Z too, I think? The M3 rotor being larger diameter... Anyone? Might be a cheap way of upgrading.

Can anyone help me! My car has failed its MOT on a few small things, one being that the boot won't open:( If I pull the lever in the cabin then the boot interior light comes on and I can here a small noise of the catch doing something but the boot lid wont actually pop. I can't open it from the outside either, the key won't budge. I have sprayed the hell out of the mechanism with WD40 and still no joy. Any ideas? Justin:)
