Got a 90 reg TT with JDM brain and profec B 11. prob is engine keeps flooding and am fed up with taking plugs out and having to dry them before car will start!! Also the electric fan has started to come on all the time today!! Is the sensor for this the one next to temp gauge sensor because it doesnt make a difference to the fan if i unplug it :confused: Paul.

what nos should i fit and wher to get it :confused:

I need a MOT for my Z, any suggestions where to take her? It runs out on the 11th.

Found this module under the passenger seat when I was cleaning!!!! What does it do coz i've looked under the passenger footwell and I seem to already have one(but a different type) Also there are wires joined up everywhere under there and a little box with HICAS LOCK on it? Pics attached

Having just sold my Accord Type R in favour of a new flat and wedding, I am after something a bit different.... and thinking of a ZX TT... Just got an insurance quote for one, it is an import and the insurance company asked if it was right hand drive and I said yes... They did not ask about imports... And only want an extra £14 off me. I thought imports cost a lot more to insure? Was the UK TT car available in 1990? Also, anything I should be looking for when buying one? It's an auto, with most extras on it, and a full years MOT. Car has 72k on it, so anything that I should be thinking about with it? Thanks, and hopefully be hanging aroun…

Hi guys & gals, Just about to have KYB AGX shocks fitted to my zed along with Eibach springs, adjustable upper link arms, adjustable tension rods and adjustable anti roll bar link ends. What have you found to be the best settings to have the shocks on for general use. cheers bubbles

Hi all, i know there are loadsa links on forums about this but my situation is a bit different. Upon acceleration when the car hesitates if i keep ma foot down it will not accelerate at all but just twitch along and few seconds after make a bang,sounds almost as if radiator cap has blown off, that sorta noise with a bang and a whoosh. And this happens every time i keep ma foot down if it hesitates so i tend not to avoid it, and if i release accel. and put my foot down again it will accel. normally. Sound familiar to anyone?? :confused: BTW its automatic n/a import and ive cleaned the throttle bodies and the few other cables.....

I have a 93 tt auto uk spec and when i pull away sometimes there is a noise like something scraping on tin , the sort of noise you would expect if the backplate was catching your disc , but it,s not that , looked underneath and cannot see anything catching , so no idea at all what it is , it seems to be coming from underneath , g,box or propshaft area , any ideas or has someone had the same problem , would appreciate some help as I don,t know what it is or if its serious cheers Noel

Hi Has anyone on this forum upgraded there camshaft's for higher lift better duration race camshafts?? Which are availabe from Courtesy Nissan or other U.S Origins... I would like to know what improvements/Difference they made ie: Bhp/Torque gained and driveability and Idle quality's ie:smooth/lopy/very lopy? :)

Just changed cam belt,tensioner and water pump and it my eagerness to see if car would start again i forgot to put the bottom hose on radiator for gearbox oil back on, gearbox oil everywere :headvswal Should i just top it up or change the lot? How do you top it up or change it anyway?? Paul.

I need some advice on what size tyre would be best for my new alloys if that's ok guys? :) They're 19's in an 8.5" width fitment for the fronts and 9.5" for the rears. I was thinking of trying out the Goodyear Eagle F1's this time as I've heard good reports (although I have to say I've always had Toyo Proxes on my cars and been very happy with them) but it would also be interesting to hear if anyone would recommend another make? I've recently fitted some new dials to my Zed. The speedo only reads 160mph, therefore I need it recalibrated. I've read about problems with the power steering after guys have converted from KPH to MPH. Any one know if I'll have the same probs??? Anyone know where I could get it done?? Nistec perhaps? Ive just got a dash kits USA RHD kit arrived Are there any particullar tips for fitting - bacause it looks fiddly as fook - and i dont do fiddly well

Hi, please can anyone help or advise me on this. I have a Volvo S60 2.4T. I parked it last night, locked it and when I went to it today, it turned over but wouldn't start. I got a message in the display unit on the dash saying "Immobiliser- see manual". This just sets out the correct starting procedure. I've tried all 3 keys, I disconnected the battery for 5 minutes and retried- no luck. I have disconnected the battery and put it on charge overnight. I also checked the fuses for the coils, injectors, ecu etc, they're ok. Any ideas? (short of burning it!)

any one advise me on the best sortof boost controller to go for???? nothing that needs to be morgaged ( to many of them alreay), but want some thing quite controlable :duffer:

Right, it's panic stations this end, but in a good way (I think!)! Basically I've been offered a set of top notch 19" Trafficstar DTM alloys for silly cheap money (relatively speaking!). The downside is they're in a different offset (20 front, 17 rear) and I have to decide before close of business today! HOWEVER...I'm fiting custom wide arches which will require the use of some major spacers anyway (from Luke probably) and I also have one of Harve's camber correction kits to put on. Can anyone tell me definitively if I'll be ok with these alloys with this set-up? Cheers, Leigh.
