I'm on my second set of JDM rear light clusters now and, over the last couple of weeks, they have started to split really badly (you know, the usual hairline cracks that grow to massive canyons overnight). I am starting to consider NOT replacing them with yet another 2nd hand set, but opting for Luke's '99 spec clusters, but will they crack too?? Or are they made of sterner stuff and likely to last? Has anyone had '99s that have split? Oh, and sorry of the title misled you :p :D

Hello all, On Sunday a yellow 300ZX (red-ish wheels) has been seen (by some friends) doing burn outs around Warrington (if anyone knows the area near the Duck Pond/Bishopdale Great Sankey) in a built up area and also managed to knock down (which was seen by quite a few people) and kill a dog which wandered into the road in front of it, just after they perfomed a hand-brake turn in the middle of the road! I've been informed that the police have been contacted and apparently SOCO came down and worked on the tyre marks which were left on the road. Apparently, as it's pretty distinctive, it's also been spotted in the Car Park at Great Sankey Forum, Saturday morning. …

Many of you will have come across this site before, it contains many useful facts about choice of turbos and ECU tuning/downloads. He reckons in one instance (Greddy TD06-16/20G) that increasing the boost beyond the "choke" area still does produce some more power which interestingly contradicts what has been said in the past. http://cherrypicker.tripod.com/id10.html Dave

Ok, Have Apexi induction kit, and a big noisy exhaust :D . Any idea how much hp this is at the minute? I take it a boost controller is next. Im leaning towards an Apexi avcr, do I need to get a chip for the ecu. Car is a 1990 jap auto. Or can I just throw in an avcr, Has anyone on here posted a fitting guide apart from the twinturbo.net one (have searched extensively) Where do i get these, bear in mind postage to Dublin, Ireland, cheers Kersh.

Sent my Turbo Technics stage 1 hybrids back to them last week to see what's up. They've done about 75,000 miles over five years so can't really complain. However, apparently, they're totally shafted and can't be repaired so I'm looking for new ones. I've haggled them down to £1060 + VAT for a new pair. I'm now open to any recommendations as to alternatives so please give me any ideas and views you may have. And if you're a trader, make me an offer!

Just failed mot: play found in nearside/offside of rear steering rack. Does anyone know if there's adjustment possible? Or is it knackered and I gotta get a new/recon :x: Is it a DIY job or garage? Oh yeah, do I need a substantial lottery win to get this done?! Not sure if car is an import, would this matter? Err, think I've asked enough questions for now!! Any advice much appreciated.

Hi all, Have been thinking of replacing the old japanese exhaust on my car with a powerflow and was wondering if any who've done the same remember the sort of prices they go for? The Bournemouth dealer, which is a little out of my way, quoted £550 to £650 +vat, dependant on having a look at the car. I only asked them though as the closest one to me, in Southampton, asked for £800+ !!

Guys I either need to purchase a sheet of Stainless steel and get them cut to size or buy some flanges made out of stainless steel to fit my new de-cat pipes. Can anyone helps with supplying either?? :duffer: PS. The pipe is 60mm bore and the ideal width for the flange I guess is 8mm....

Has anyone had experience fitting these disks? I've just tried fitting mine and they are rubbing on the back plate (see piccy). After some head scratching it looks as though the disks have a smaller diameter opening on the back compared to the originals (see other piccy). Do I need to butcher the back plate with my pursuading device? :smash: or shall I have to use some small spacers on the wheel studs to push the disk out a bit? The other though I'd had was that the disks haven't been machined correctly and that they should have been bored out at the back (but someone forgot). Any suggestions?
