The aircon in my car (early -93 import) is not working (needs re-gas) and since the original gas was R12 it will either be R134a or R416 (or similar drop in) that will be used. As the aircon has been out of order for some time I am planning to get the drier tank changed as I believe that this should be done. Does anyone know if the drier tanks are the same in the US models or are the Jap part number different as the prices seem to be lower in the US? If anyone has the part number for an early (believe my car was produced in January) 1993 NA Import, please let me know.

Hi, Im new to all this, i've just sold my car and I really want a ZX. I dont know too much about their flaws and age differences unfortunately so buying the right one is rather difficult. :x: I know that im after a Twin turbo, but I dont know what age to go for, wether to go for a T-Top, UK or Jap spec, 2 seater or 2+2. Can anyone help me with this, are there any types to stay away from? Would really appreciate some help from people with the experience and knowledge. Thanks in advance Rob

Im looking to replace the stock sway bars with uprated items very soon. From what I have read these are make a very noticable difference to handling. The Guys on tt.net swear by them. Stillen, Suspension techniques and Whiteline offer them. Have anyone fitted the Whiteline kit, or know anything about them Stillens are 28mm Front and 21mm rear, and come highly recomended, but the Whiteline kit seems a bargain. £86 front - 27mm £61 Rear - 20mm http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/catalogue/appdata2.asp?manf_id=37&manfdesc=Nissan&code=WHIARB&app_id=68640&x=86&y=11 (stock is 27mm front, 21mm rear Hollow items?) Im going to fit an avcr soon. So, i need some gauges fitted. So i have picked 3,- water temp, boost and oil pressure. Do i need a mechanical or electronic boost gauge, in fact do i need a boost gauge, as the avcr will show me what boost im running, wont it??? I take it water temp gauge and oil pressure gauges all come the same, ie , no electronic/mechanical, or are some different than others?? Finally, where would i tap a boost gauge into....?? Many questions, i know, but you guys always have the answers, cheers, Kersh.

Iv been on this forum recently with a problem with my Z here it is again. wen i go to work in the morning or take the Z out for a run i probably travel a couple of miles warming the beast when it could just stall without warning. I have asked before with the same problem and the advice from several club members was the ptu. but the problem with that is the engine has not had time to warm up i have only had the Z for about 4 weeks so i am very new to this game would a conzult detect the problem or has any member had any similar problem i have got 91 auto non turbo. Please help

Just fitted my after market Boost gauge (my series 4 hasn't got a stock gauge). Problem is I'm only getting 6.5psi max. My understanding is that stock TT should get between 9~10psi. Any ideas. Chris@GetGreddy reckons it will be in safety boost and I'll need a conzult. Anybody got one up in the NE. And if so, do they know how to sort this problem? If anyone thinks it may be something else, please shout up. I'm getting a Greddy Boost Controller fitted this weekend and was wondering if the Controller may fix the problem, or should I get it sorted before fitting the Boost Controller? Cheers Steve

Hello all, Just replaced my stock airboxes with an HKS mushroom air filter, problem is now that when engine is warmed up and I press the gas it seems to hesitste slightly and also splutters a bit as well from a standing start. Any ideas, do you think I should disconnect the battery supply so the ECU "forgets" previous air intake, also the motor seems to idle at about 1300rpm it was fine before.
