Rite lads!! This is a contiuation of a earlier thread! As u can c from all the threads ive left every where im desperate!! :( So if anyone can help its beers on me :duffer: My leftside camshaft intake pulley is leakin but its not from the front where the spring and o-ring is this area is dry and its not the cam seals these are also dry but the leak is comin from the rear of the pulley itself, the side that faces the head! Any ideas!! :headvswal Is there a way to stop the leak or do i need a new pulley!!(NOT CHEAP) :( Thanks Andy.

OMG. I feel like a twat but HTF do you change the inner (high beam) lamp? I have tried but there just isnt enough space to get my hand in? Is there an easy way. other than taking the engine out :headvswal

Ive got the original imported 110mph dials 1. Are these ones any good...does anyone have them theyre alwasy on ebay 2. Is it JUST a case of adjusting some screws to get the speedo working for the new dials? Or is there something more complicated to do? 3. I think my motor has been derestricted (arent they restrcited to 112mph?)..ive had it well off the bottom of the dials so i dont think ive got to deal with that... I quite fancy the red bulb options as ive done that in my clusters, but still need advice on converting..theres a lot of pposts but nothing decisive? cheers, rob

Guys, I have a UK 91 thats done 126k now, just found out my turbs need replacing so obviously looking a couple of grand there and i was just about to put it in to a bodyshop for a full respray and rust removal etc etc. Now the car is mint inside and i have replaced a fair amount already (see signiture spec). Now i feel im at the point of no return as between the bodywork and turbs this is gonna cost me around 5k, but if i was to sell the motor i prob get FA for it now. Personally i luv the car and if i do these remainding jobs it gonna be in top condition with the majority of parts new and uprated. What i need to know though is what are the engine…

Help i recently installed a new set of clear wing repeaters and they wont work! I blew a fuse at the start by crossing the wires but a new fuse later and the fronts and back are ok but not the wings! The bulbs are ok as well so now im lost. :rolleyes:

Checked the car this mornng and it was definately reading code 34. Reset the ECU and then 55 OK. Boost up from 6 to 10psi. After half a mile back into Safety Boost and code 34. How can I fix this problem. Is it OK to fit a resistor across the Det Sensor, or I'm I risking bigger problems by linking it out. My ECU hasn't been chipped yet and I have fitted Apexi BOV's, Divorced downpipes with decatt and Mongoose catback system and Blitz SUS Induction. I've been told the ECU isn't set up for these mods and that is why the car is running lean and into Safety Boost. I'm also about to fit a Greddy ProfecII Boost Controller. Does this controller link out the Det Sensor …

well this one's got me baffled (well it dont take much) ? When i start the car a warning light comes on ?, on the left hand bottom bank of warning lights (next to the hicas warning light). it says LIGHTS, i have checked my lights including indicators and brake lights and they are all working. This started to happen when i reconnected the battery ?, when connecting the battery i got a larger than normal spark ?, have also checked all the fuses and cant find a blown one? WOTS GOING ON ????? HELP....... :smash:

I have searched the threads and they all seem to have the problem on a cold start... But..... The last couple of days ive noticed that in the hotter weather I have an awfull petrol smell. Is made worse by running my aircon and reving(using throttle) Its makin me head ring :headvswal and feels like im swimming in amel nitrate :mad: It has never reared its head before but today was unbearable. I have checked and tightned the fuel lines (including under the throttle cover) and they all seem fine. I have reved it and have found no leaks. Hi guys, hope you can help here. If you are looking at the Zed from the front, on the far right hand side at the front of the car. After I'd stopped at a shell garage to fill up with Optimax, I let it run for a minute or two, turned her off, filled up, paid, then came back to find shit loads of liquid on the floor under the car. I got down to have a look and it wasn't drippingor anything, only a couple of drops, but it was very worrying. My water temp guage was almost at the bottom, whereas normally it's around a quarter of the way to a third of the way round the dial. Apart from the low boost she was running fine. Hey guys just bought my first zed this month after years of wanting one ( My brother had one untill he got a R33 GTR last year. What a car ..... its a red tt manual targa one with ferrari rear lights, 19s, and rear diffuser, AP racing brake conversion, and full tein coilover suspension etc. It was advertised as having 380BHP but havent quite figured if this is accurate. I know it has a full system with cat replacements, Air filter and its running 14 boost. It was advertised as being stage 2 but the guy said it isnt chipped so im guessing an actuaror or something! Hi all, Driving around town today and the temp gauge (aftermarket) was reading approx 93c prob ok as wasnt above 30mph at any point and the temp outside being 31c so no cool air flowing. Anyway got on to the dual carriage way and it wouldnt boost more than 5psi??/ Just got home and did an ECU check and this was 55 so all clear there. So I am guessing this was just due to it being so hot that it wasnt boosting properly??? Anyone else had this today or is there something I should be looking at?? It was boosting to 12psi yesterday and the temp gauge usually sits around 80c on a cooler day. Another question is on hot days does anyone elses temp get to the 90's whe…

Noticed my Z had started to puff a little blue smoke from the drivers side exhaust. I havent paniced yet as its due an oil change. Ive been reading past threads and come to the conclusion it may be the PCV valves. I read this off the Dallas doods: 'The PCV valve may fail in either a closed or open position, usually due to clogging with oil sludge or dirt. Failing in the open position causes hard starting and rough, low speed running. Failure in the closed position causes buildup of crankcase pressure, which can force engine oil past seals, gaskets and other openings in the crankcase. Most likely through the rear main seal, or blowing out the dipstick on the Z32. ' …

Hi All. Bit concerned at what can only be described as a 'hissing sound' when I put my foot on the gas. Also.. I'm running a chip and 12psi boost jets, but when I give it some, my standard gauge only registers at around 6psi! Even on the orginal gauge surely 12psi should be pushing the needle off the clock? Help!

Hi everyone!! Im really hopin someone comes through on this one for me so here goes!! I have oil leakin onto my cambelt, and when i told my local mechanic he first thought it was my cam seals, so happy days got these from Nissan for 20 notes, left in my Zed to be repaired, later to get a phone call tellin me that it was not my seals but my camshaft intake pulley, yet again off to nissan with my fingers crossed, s#*t load of good it did me, got a price of 550 quid :shock: :hurl: !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So i was hopin one of u guys would have a good idea where to get one from at a cheaper price or even a second hand one!! Or even a second opion on the above cause …

Floore it from dead in the Auto TT today and it took about 8-9 secs to get to 60mph WTF :rolleyes: I thought my car wasnt so quick at the mo the boost seems to go round to 7 or just below Fuel MPG seems normal couldnt say Ive noticed any changes in anything mechanical but it dont seem so quick its standard apart from air filter, exhaust but its been fine with these on before it seemed to take so long to get through the gear and theres hardly any torque until high up the rev range chris :cry:

This is a long shot but does anyone know where I can get a fill in panel for my tailgate? Prefferably the one with the brake light + someone who'd be willing to post? I've been in touch with Luke at the Zed centre but he won't post it via courier due to the fact that 30% end up getting broken in transit! I don't have the time to drive all the way to Nottingham either. I also rang Nissan with the part number but the part they showed was something totally different! :rolleyes: Cheers, Shaun
