Well it's been a while since I've been on here. As of Wednesday I am on the hunt for a new car. I am considering the following: Supra TT Celica GT4 300ZX TT (Advice on choosing would be good from anyone who has owned/driven some/all of the above) Anyway, if I decide to go for a 300ZX, it must be a black manual TT. However, what I am unsure about is if I should get the UK 2+2, or the SWB and pay an extra £400 on insurance :( Is there T-bar and coupe versions of both UK and SWB? When I was here before I was looking at smithyguy's SWB cos it looked exactly what I was looking for, but unfortunately I have only just sold my car so haven't been…

my son Rob took his car to Mr Clutch, (FIT NEW CLUTCH) I had a bad feeling straight away, they tried it on saying needs a new gear box, *****cks did,nt fall for that one. However 2 days later he collects car ,pay,s for it drives home, car overheating , oil warning light on, and no speedo reading, they also had to fit two cluches they damaged first one , also they broke bonnet eyelid and scratched paintwork, he loves that car as much as i love the ZED. ps. they,ve still got the car. cowboys!

the Zed is in for MOT & new parts required. is the heat exchanger required? Will it mess up the axle if I don't fit a new one? They said do away with it you won't get one anyway so I said let me look at the Zed site & will let you know. What do you all think? Help required ASAP. Don't know what to do

Hi all, Picked up my 300 yesterday (1994 Non turbo Manual in blue). Couple of things. Firstly the window frames/sills are a mix of black/chrome and have seen better days. It's the ones that run under all 4 windows and up the sides of the windscreen across the t-bar. Anyone know where I can get some new ones? Or can you just refurb what's alread there? Also it has recaro seats, is this standard, doesn't look to be? Anyway having trouble getting comfy in it which is beginning to get on my nerves, so am considering selling it already! Apart from that that it's fantastic. Cheers, matt. :hyper: :hyper:

I used to use WonderWheels and it was fantastic but now I have split rim alloys and it says not to use it so I need an alternative that is friendly to my wheels.

Just got the zed back on the road proper for the first time since January. :hyper: Its been of the road for so long because i've been so busy at uni/work etc ive barely had the chance, and for the last couple of months ive been saving for its visit to PPS next weekend. :hyper: Anyway, during that time i got myself a set of second hand 18s. When i had them fitted i was told they were a little buckled and i would notice a bit of vibration from the front. After driving it today, there is defo a good bit of vibration at 70mph and over. I had planned to have these wheels reconditioned anyway as they have been curbed, but i was just wondering if buckling can be cured wh…

For anyone interested in buying a really fast zed (stage 2+ madified - no that's not a spelling mistake!) The car will be available for viewing at C+S Woods in Astley Manchester up to the bank holiday weekend and Phil will sort out viewings - he'll even put it up on the ramps if you want to see all angles (he's rightly proud of the quality of work his team have done on this car over the last 2 years). Phil can be contacted at.... C+S Woods 651 Manchester Road Astley Manchester M29 7BQ 01942 892568 (The best Zed specialist in the NW - ask anyone on here!) For a spec on the car, check out my posts in the For Sale section on here.

Hey, Just wondering if anyone knew of any good specialists in the Abingdon/Oxford area. The Z's handling feels pants at the moment with loads of wobbles and distorting massively when going over even small bumps in the road!! It's a N/A auto 1992 by the way. Just wanted to get someone to have a look at the steering assembly and the suspension. I feel that something might have to get repaired / replaced. I've been to the Nissan dealership here for something else, they seemed totally clueless about everything, so don't really want them loose on her again! Cheers in advance guys, Jon

Hi all, I know this might not be the PC thing to say on this forum but I say "Say As You Find" I have recently had some trouble with working out what bearings I needed for my Z. Ended up phoning Jeff TT as he had helped me before. What can I say. He could not do enough to help, gave me al the answers I needed, made some good common sense comments, spent time finding info for me without knowing there would be any sale at the end of it. I ordered the parts from him, and his son, thanks Jamie, delivered them personally. Top notch service. I have heard that threads in Jeffs favour get deleted. I dont believe that anyone is that childish....... ;)

Anyone else running Greddy e-manage and Apexi AVC-R boost controller? Or with a different boost controller? I am toying with the idea of changing the Apexi for the Greddy E0-1 as i have been told my zed is not as quick as it should be which is probably down to the package not correctly set up properly. Just wondering if it would improve things if i was using the Greddy boost controller instead?
