Me again!! Right as u know i got a basically standard 1990 NA import manual. I've got 225 45's on the front and 245 45's on the back BUT i don't know if it has the british (slightly wider) WHEELS on the rear. All i know is that its got the 245's on it. What i need to know is how wide can i go on the back cos i need to replace them and 255 45 16's are a lot cheaper than 245 45 16's so i is a thinkin :oD Please help asap cos they're now down to slicks as i forgot to look at them til i broadsided acroos all three lanes of the M6 after a slight aquaplane incident :oS Rich......

Apparently there are three types and they difffer between the uk and import models and the turbo and NA modela. please help...i'm lost again!! If anyone has the part number for this thing it'd be a great help!! I went looking on us websites for a vague idea and they were £40 here they're £97 + the dreaded.....ridiculous. Excuse my ignorance in the world of tubbies. Is there a simple way of running my TT without any boost at all? This may sound a strange request but I will be using the Zed as a daily driver for the forseable future. The thought of running without any form of boost control, mixed with a light weight flywheel, stage 1 clutch, N/A biff set up & winter on its way is some what unnerving as my wheels are bloody expensive lol. If it was left purely to my discretion & restraint not to press on the go peddle. I know I will not be able to stop myself when passed by chav boy racer etc. If I have no boost I have no choice, if you see what I mean. Any a…

I have a Blitz IBC Colour Boost Controller, however it needs some sort of extra's to make full use of its abilities, a harness I assume so it can measure oil pressure, temp blah blah blah. Anyone know where I can get one and how much are they? Chris@Greddy, I assume you may know?

ok guys and gals here's the score. A bloke my dad works with has got an import TT auto sat on his drive with a knackered engine. Dont know the complete ins and outs of the engine problem but I do know it's mechanical and I know it's not anything on the turbo side of things. So, the question is, what would be required to turn my N/A into a TT using this car as a donor? The rest of the car would be broken and sold off to help fund any new parts that may be required, but all I need to know from the 'Font of infinite Z knowledge' is what do I need? (apart from having my head looked at....)

I need the point of view of experts. I did some research on old posts, without success. Maybe it's a normal behavior, but it seems strange to me. FYI, my oil sending unit is completely new, I drilled a bigger hole in it (about 1.2mm), without damaging it of course ! It means I can see the oil pressure fluctuations more quickly. When starting from cold, the oil pressure rises up to 7kg/cm2, no problem. Then, I start to drive the car, the oil pressure stands between 4 and 6 and as soon as the rev goes above 3000 (let's say about 3000), the oil pressure drops to 0 (a true 0 !) and as soon as the rev goes down below 3000, it's between 4 and 6 again. This ph…
