Anyone else embarrassed by the current crop of new members? Bad english, text speak, and tails of racing on public roads all the time :mac1: This isn't a trader thread but it's the privatest place I can post :D Mike - what about adding certain common text speak words to the swear filter? :D Over on sxoc.co.uk the mods crack down on "shite" like Hitlers, it's annoying sometimes, closing threads all the time, but the zed forum would benefit IMO from a similar (ok, not as strict) tolerance. What do you think?

My turbos built the pressure perfectly but my car runs really bad. I have already cleaned and checked almost everything (TPS, coils, O2, fuel pump, timing, boost leak,...). I have strange values with Datascan and the Profec. Profec E-01 : in "car select menu : speed meter pulse", if I enter "2" (the right value for the Z32, as with the AVC-R), the boost controller gives a wrong RPM (too high). If I enter "4", I read the right RPM values... Datascan : at WOT, the airflow never gives more than 3 volts (instead of 4.5 volts) and 35% of injectors duty cycle. I'm not always 'rich' under acceleration. My iddle is not perfect (variation of 60 rpm…

Hi guys I'm a newbie on your forum. I've joined primarily because shortly my Peugeot 306 DTurbo will be up for sale and I'm interested in a 300ZX; I've always admired this car compared to Supras and 3000GTs. I've spent a lot of money tuning my diesel but now as my insurance company trust (lol) me I've been getting good quotes for Jap or UK spec twin turbo 300s. Since having a turbo car, there is no chance I'm going back to N/A cars, so the N/A 300 is out of the question. Basically I'm looking for a 300ZX TT (manual preferred) which is in fairly good condition (I've seen some dogs recently and one with a compression problem on 6th cylinder, is this a co…

I have been having a problem with the hard ride on my Z. I have just broke my 3rd set of anti roll bar clamps (u shaped ones in the middle). I think this is down to over hard suspension. I can only gess that the car is also lowered but by how much i have no idea. The anti roll bar is also bigger than stock. I gess the roads in Japan must be smoother than here as my fillings are coming lose. I also run 18" wheels on 235/40 tires which cant be helping. Im thinking of going for standard shocks with lowered spings. Unless anyone can give me a better route to go down.

This is very odd. Stevemochan was good enough to come down with a Conzult to try fix my car. We connected it and fired the engine up, the timing was coming out at 35deg when cold down to 25deg when warm. The bizarre thing is that when I tried adjusting the CAS, the timing value from the Conzult remained unchanged! I was wondering if the Conzult won't work with an ECU with a JWT chip fitted. The CAS was obviously doing it's job as the engine speed changed when I adjusted the angle of it. Any help would be appreciated. Cheers, Shaun
