Hello peeps why is it that some imports have an annoying fog light on the rear bumper "stuck on" and others dont. If you have one on these bloody things is thee any way toi hide it in the normal tail ight setup? cheers

Could somebody please tell me where im goin wrong, im trying to get glovebox out me zed ive undone evreyscrew i can find but she wont budge! is there any hidden screws that i should know about? Ive undone 2 on the catch 2 down the left side and 1 on the right is ther any more

want to take mine off clean and polish over winter, can i just take em off and then re fit no probz? or do i need to do anything else? is it just that simple as to take off and re fit. putting the throttle cable back onto the holder?

Just removed stereo and found a switch, traced the wires back and found all this little lot. Switch i found behind stereo is arrowed blue the aerial end arrowed green was in back of the stereo what i gather is the original aerial was pluggin in where red arrow is pointin and i found one end of an in-line fuse holder arrowed yellow tucked behind the plywood that covers ecu. WTF is it????? and what does it do???

have fitted a smithys braided petrol pipe kit to my zed, and tightened the remaining jubilee clips i could find to help reduce the dreaded petrol fumes. it did help alot, but now the cold weather is here again im starting to smell it just on start up when cold. :rant: ive gone round re-tightening the ones i could see but im sure im missing some. my question is: can anyone possibly show by a picture where all the pipes are that need tightening? thanks in advance!

Can anyone tell me how I can tell if my car has been lowered. Do I measure from the ground the the top of the wheel arch and what should that measurement be. Thanks in advance Konrad

Does anyone know if a series 4 N/A diff Without ABS option has gear teeth on the drive shaft for ABS sensor readings? :confused: This question is raised due to the TT axle's having port hole windows (as I assume the N/A does) where the axle joins the diff with a ring of teeth for the ABS sensors to read.

whilst driving this morning the following lights came on:- battery light diff oil light one on the lower bottom left warning panel, it looks like a lamp or cone with with several horizontal lines on the right of it (not sure what this it, cat overheat?) tried starting it just now at lunchtime and the same lights are on. does this mean a shot battery or alternator or worse? :confused: :( I don't have my manual to hand so can't check. its a 93 series 2 UK car BTW

think im gona have to take the zed off the road for a while!!! bad fuel leaks, oil leaks see pic think ive cracked a piece of gearbox casing off theres oil all over it. think ill keep it off the road till next spring as i am skint and im gona get it to the zen and spend some cash fixing her up!!!!! just a question guys i paid off my insurance in full about two months ago £1200 will i get any of this back when i cancel my insurance????? oh yeah and membership cheque in the post today as hsbc website is a pain in the ass tryin to send direct bank transfers bloody banks. any replys much appreciated guys thanx!!!!!!! ;)

Looking for some help on where to get a new battery. Woke up this morning went down to start the car and just got a gentle clicking sound - dead battery I did manage to get it going with jump leads. I have drained the battery a couple of times over the summer and have not been driving long distances so no chance to charge the battery. I have a Jap spec car qand I seem to recall reading a post that said the terminals are the wrong way round. Can anyone shed any light please? Thanks Ivan

IS THERE ANY ADJUSTMENT IN THE TRACKING ON THE REAR WHEELS ON A NA???? I'VE HAD THE FRONT DONE TWICE BUT IT STILL PULLS TO THE LEFT?? :confused:

Handbrake light keeps coming on, so I have 2 questions How low does the brake fluid have to be for the warning light to activate? and I'm guessing the handbrake light switch is near the handbrake, so it might be stuck, is this hard to get to? HELP any other tips, cheers

I've done some searching but couldn't find help, I have same symptoms as here I must stress this only happens when the engine is cold, I'd say after 10-15 min drive it goes away, I've checked the fliud, seems clear, no burning smell. If anything it's over filled, just measured it in cold and it's showing both cold an warm side in clear red but the warm side is darker red than the clear side, that's the only difference. I'm thinking if I overfilled it, why is it coming up with these problems now, i've been driving it for quite a while without this happening. HELP

I've changed the hard petrol pipes on top of the plenum to soft ones as i have a front strut brace and re-fitted new hose clamps size 13.5 (i think) however even though they are done up tight and are i'm sure the same size as the original they leak fuel twhen the car is cold.... Is there somewhere that sells really tight fitting clamps or should i just try the next size down maybe 12 or 12.5??? Also not too sure if one of my fuel regulators is leaking do these leak or is it probably the pipe join???

why does my rear washer button (the one that pushes down) activate the front washers and vice versa. In order to clean the windscreen I have to push the rear washer button down at the same time it activates the rear wiper and then I have to switch on the front wipers to clean, so the rear wipers always have to work aswell, theres no way round it :confused: HELP p.s. the washers work other way around only, not the wipers

HI peeps, recently have had my engine fully rebuilt, since then it has been leaking oil like there is no tomorrow, have had a quick look under the car to check the obvious places like.... sump plug, oil fiter and pressure switch(wich dont work by the way) and is all dry as bone.... any ideas where the oil could be vanishing to?

my damn washer light came on just now.. went out to check the car and get a pizza found it was on and water was bubbling from one of the bonnet jets and there was water on the floor under the car running down my drtiveway, looks like a pipe may have frozen and burst.. gonna check it tomorrow now.. where do i check? the light is a windscreen with a water jet coming up so i assume itrs the washer..

Hi, ive been useing my turbo timer(its an HKS with 1/2, 1, 3& 5 min settings) i usually just leave it on for 3 mins. how important are timers and how long should i leave it on for. Cheers Si

Hi. Got one of these things in the Z... http://www.prostreetonline.com/buy/apexi_turbo_timer/ (silver timer, top of the page. Works great and appears to show O2 reading when the joystick is adjusted to that position. Can anyone tell me what figure should be appearing on the display - mine is dropping from 3.78 odds, down to around the 1.78 mark as it gets warmed up. This can vary up and down. Just wondering what this figure means.
