Hi Guys, Just got a lower rad hard pipe kit for the zed from danny at DTA. Before I start fiddling with the car has anybody here fitted one of these, if so is it str8 4ward get it installed. Cheers Marc

seems that my washer water is leaking from one of the jets on the bonnet now also . i just filled the water back up and its letting water through, bubbling away and letting it pass through. is it this little valve thats probably fooked then? its the passenger side and theres one on each jet under the bonnet, i assume its some form of valve . anyone got a working one for sale? or a pair? piccy attatched

i have been told my ac will cost a lot to repair and i think its not worth doing how do i go about removing it. if i remove the ac rad what do i do with the two pipes that will be left

Yesterday I went out in my red 90 TT (not the grey one I got last week), after 45 minutes, with temp needle just below 1/2 way, the car was still blowing cold air on us, even though i set the temp ar 40 degrees. Any idea why this is? I went home and then went out in the grey 91 tt and it was warm after 10 mins. Any ideas?? Thanks.

Hi everyone. My headlight bulbs keep blowing - sometimes it's one...then it's the other. Is it me? Am I doing something wrong? I've had a poke around this forum and don't SEEM to be able to find a similar fault...but I'm a noob and a bit of a 'tard. Any help would really be appreciated. I've found some cheap (H3C) bulbs, but it's a pain to keep ordering them from Hongkong (£2.01 per pair, £5.99 postage and 1 week to arrive)! This is my first ZX, and without doubt the greatest car I have ever owned, so if I have to, I'll just keep buying bulbs till Hongkong runs out of them... In the meantime...HELP!

Right then as you probably know the ol'gels running!-thing is to get the Z tach working with the chevy??-the HEI as a tach take off but this sends the needle hey-wire so I'm looking for a clever fella! Only other option is aftermarket but I'm trying to keep the instruments stock if poss... TIA, DAZ. ;)

Fittin a bigger exhaust system, it has straight through decats but it has like little silencers in their place like these what I'm worried about tho, is i hear my turbo seals could go quicker by fitting these. Is there anything i can do to help stop the seals from failing due to fittin this exhaust??? other than not fittin it lol My zed has over 100k on the clock if that helps at all lol

I took the cover of the Fuse box (down by the loud pedal) when I looked at the inside of the cover to see which fuse was which, "DooH" :headvswal its in Japanese. Can anyone read Japanese? or have a UK fuse identification diagram?

Hey guys I'm not a happy bunny at all :( most of you will know i got a 1990 LWB NA Manual import and the matrix has expired as do lots of them when previous owners can't be arsed changing the anti freeze. I've completely stripped the dash and all anciliaries (see pic) and i know where the heater is. I have followed all the available information that some of you have sent me and from hunting around the site, but i CANNOT find this elusive bolt that holds on the heater matrix to the pipes. PLUS i have MANUAL so i can't get it out anyway. I'm completely lost. Now i'm no newbie to repairing cars cos i've restored them from nothing before and am in the middle of a…

Is it just me or is anyone else getting fed up with these two needlessly postwhoring and generally posting drunken crap? Between the two of them they have managed to post up in excess of 20 threads in the past two day which are all completely useless and in some cases even quite inciteful. They are not the only ones who are doing this but by far the most prolific and visible. After fitting an aftermarket boss & wheel I removed the cruise control button assembly and kept it. It has 3 wires, Yellow, white and green. I have since rejoined (I Had to cut the green and white wires to remove the HICAS disc assembly), the green to green, white to white, and tried putting yellow to earth (I think thats where its meant to go). My cruise doesnt work ?? :( Have I missed something? Cheers

Well i finally managed to get my z on a 2 poster yesterday and it was quite enlightening. I've got fancy shocks :hyper: dunno what brand (either Tein or Cusco i think) but they're height adjustable - via a large nut at the bottom of the spring that threads up the shock from the bottom. They guy who owns the workshop told me that this kind of set-up will nock and there aint nothing I can do to cure it (other than replace it of course). Does that make sense to anyone? The nocking sounds like it's coming from the top of the shocks. I've taken all the trim out of the boot and it doesn't seem to be anything "topside".

Right im really confused i think my autobox is on its way out, ive just done a search and gone through auto/manual threads peeps have had probs with manuals as auto, so do i go for manual or fast road auto wot do peeps recommend from their experience thanx.
