Can anyone please help me ? I need to order a replacement nose panel, as mine is on the M5 in a million bits. Iv'e found the site, and the panel i had, but i cant speal a fooking word of japanease the panel is 25,200 yen, which i convert to about £125 how the hell do i ask how much shipping is and how do i order it ? or even better, anyone know a UK site i can order abflug ? cheers for any help you can offer

..but it only seems to happen when I put the lights on!!! I am guessing that this is my slaternator belt slipping cos when I turn the light off,,,the screaming stops!! Or is it the alternator instead??? :(

Need to do an oil and filter change on my Z, what would you guys recommend as the best oil to use??????

as above where can i get road legal slicks? its not for the z it is for a saxo i am after 195/40/16`s (204/560/16 is a rough size in that forein poo lol)or around that size only place i now is tweeks and cant find a size even near that. Si

The ciggy lighter in my new ZX has corroded quite badly so i wired a new 12v lighter socket from maplins in. However during this i shorted the wires together and now the mulimeter is not reporting any 12v voltage. Where is the fusebox for this one? And do i need to decipher some Japanese! cos i have an import :hyper: I now do all electrical wiring with the ignition off - duh!

Hi, maybe this is a bit of a silly question but as anyone ever had any trouble passing an MOT cos their car was too low, the reason i ask this is cos the last time i had my MOT my veilside front end only just cleared the rollers that they check the breaks and stuff. the guy who did the MOT reckoned he's had to turn boy racers away cos their cars were too low. and now ive had veilside sideskirts and im a bit worried it wont fit on the rollers. plus whats the crack with MOT prices these days they've doubled in price at my 2 local garages and teir not doin free re-tests no wonder theirs so many cars with no MOT on the road. I think it time to start modifying the Zed now the wetter months are starting, for now I’m doing mainly the suspension and brakes. While packing up our worldy possesions for it all to go to Canada, I found a unused (still in it's bag) fuel tank strap for a series 1 Zed. Free to anyone in the High Wycombe area who wants to pick it up before next Wednesday. It would be a shame to junk it but I just don't have the time to parcel it up.

Here is a good one. I have a Japan 91 TT automatic. Does anyone have any idea what a button on the centre console could be for. its near the shifter. It has an led light that lights up when its on. The guy I bought it from has no idea what its for. All suggestions are welcome

Hi guys and girls im currently thinking of buying a nissan 300zx twin turbo.What are the main things i should look out for/avoid on these cars?would an imported model be as good as a uk model? Also i dont really fancy an auto model but im finding it really hard to source a manual version. What sort of maintenance costs go with this car and are there any common problems that you know of? Any help with the above will be greatly appreciated

Hi there! Haven't been here for a while... I started my zed up the other day for the first time in about a month, and almost immediately it started puffing out from the passenger side of the downpipe, where that little branch is welded into the main downpipe. (Can't remember what it's for, but I did read somewhere...) Anyway, it's an HKS stainless exhaust, but for some reason these little pipes look to be mild steel so have rusted at the weld. What are your recommendations for a set of downpipes? The ones fitted at the moment have a small baffle in the middle of the pipe but I am happy to fit straight through 'de-cat' pipes (it never had cats anyway). I don't want t…

I know you'll all be really sad to here that i'm not selling the zed after all, you've all been waiting to get your hand's on one of the nicest UK car's around but no i'm gonna keep it. i have fell back in love with it all because of a service and a set of decent tyre's. I was starting to get some cold start problem's before the service and put it down to old plug's, only now it has been serviced, and the plug's re-placed, i'm still suffering with the engine spluttering on first turn-over then nothing. It crank's like giddy'o, but does'nt fire, then a bad smell of fuel, (flooded), then it fire's up on a couple of clinder's gradually building onto all 6. My question …

I've got a bit of an issue with speed bumps, due mainly to the bottom part of my front spoiler with has a 1" deep 'scrape plate' (can't see it in the picture). I could get around this by removing the section. What do you think?

How do I know if i break it, and will it strand me on the side of the road? Just wondering , cos loads of cars seem to get them replaced, Why?

Ok it was dark so i may have colour wrong, but i came out of the Old Gloucester Rd just after 7 on Weds heading towards Hambrook and you were going the other way. I wasnt in a Zed at the Time though :)

saw it today . had a shark /veilside 2 front , Lambo rear lights and high level spoiler , In morden , surrey at about 8.30 am.
