Parked up off Cotham hill Bristol - anyone here?

i've got the chance of a mint 300non turbo /auto but can't find any performance figures on the net, can any body shed any light. would prefer t/t - u/k spec as this is cheaper to insure.i've never owned a 300 before but i just luv the look of them so i've got to try one. any advice is most welcome. cheers. :hyper:

Hi guys, Ive got a Z31 VG30DET single turbo. stock block already got boostcontroler Apexi AFCR. nd i wanted to know the second step of tuning this animal.. I want to go to.. about 400rwhp.. How can i achieve that? What do u guys recommand me? thanks alot. Cheers

ok when you turn the key the dash lights come on right! now what lights should come on in a non turbo :confused:

Hi there,i've just noticed that the door rubber on my passengers door is split,its split at the end at the top of the door post where the window slides up and down but it seems its the whole rubber you need to get that goes all the way round the bottom of the door to the door hinge. I have managed to source one from a 1990 H reg and was wondering if it will fit my 94 model? Any help would be great....Thanks

hey guys my car keeps smoking usually only when you first start it and only from one exhaust the left exhaust, i had new downpipes put on the car by blueflame but i told them to keep the cats(to keep the turbos alive), i was recently told by someone that the car was de-cated and this was causing the turbos to smoke, so i phoned blueflame and they said the cats had been kept on ,they said they are two boxes with leads coming out of them but someone else told me the downpies consited as part of the cat , can anyone enlighten me on this also whats the best way to find out if its the turbos smoking and not anything else ???

hi all , i have recently acquired a Z, i know took me long enough !, but i am looking for a decent garage to spend all my money on upgrades and such. i live in Hull east yorkshire but most places i see advertised are quite a drive from me, any recommends would be greatly appreciated. thanks in advance :hyper:

Weeelll... the car failed the MOT, which isn't great, but I'm not entirely surprised because the front suspension is squeaking a lot. Turns out the bushes on the n/s front tie-rod are on the way out, so getting that replaced. No biggy. Only other problem is the rear fog light, which is kind of annoying. Apparently it's an LED bulb (too directed), isn't bright enough etc, so they have to try to get a bulb that will work better. It's a J-spec so of course the fog-light was added when it was brought into the UK. The other thing that appears to need sorting is the prop-shaft (although perversely, I don't think that's an MOT fail). Not sure whether it's just the bear…

hello everybody from binking freeeeezing kazakhstan .....i need an adaptor hub with Hicas to fit this wheel dont know what type it is either ..got it off ebay .............anybody have one going or know if anybody on here supplies them........?? would love to get this fitted to go with the new re trim in red and black before xmas cheers people Steve

Hi guys, Just had a new alternator fitted on 92 import the car started fine when it left the garage then I droke it 30 miles no trouble. But when I went to start it after 4 hours there was a flat battery. Any suggestions????? Thanks

I'm having real problems with my immobiliser. A month ago the car wouldnt start, dead on key. I went to start her up and the electrics all went out. Turned out to be the immobiliser had died. Got her running again and its been fine for a month, but now the problem has happened again. Getting the car recovered is a real pain. So, does anybody know a garage with a lot of electrics experience in the hertfordshire area? I'de like to take it to somewhere that can gut the alarm and immobiliser and fix it (it's been shoddily installed it seems) All these problems are really making me think about getting rid of the car. Thanks for any help.

...the underneath of an NA engine? I've got a water leak (well, possibly a few) and it looks like it's right in the middle, at the bottom of the engine. It's far too cold, and I'm far too lazy to jack the thing up and get under it with a torch!! :smw: So I thought I'd see if anyone has a photo to see if it gives me any clues. Unless anyone has any ideas? It's a small 'jet' of water that seems to come out just after I've switched off, and keeps going till the pressure's off (I guess). Cheerz.

Over the past month she has started to run rough and hunt up and down the revs... not a lot.. but enough for it to worry me as she used to run so well, and at the back end she doesn't sound like she's running right. Does she just need a tune up? or is something going? all gauges are fine and the oil was changed quite recently. I had a look under her last week and there are 2 cables that go into the exhaust that are broken, its quite a way back, think its after the first silencer (not cat) will this be my problem and what are they?

Hi, my ignition key is refusing to be removed! its stuck in the number 1 position, this is the stage where the button is requiring a press, the button seems to be jammed. Ive not had chance to have a look at it yet, so im hoping for a few pointers, Cheers for any help or advice, Steve. PS, wiped the whole drivers side out last saturday on the m1 j23 roundabout, list of things to do just seems to grow :rofl:

hi all had a strange one happen to me today i drive to work stopped outside my work with the engine running for a couple of minutes,when i switched the engine off i could here what i assume was the fuel pump buzzing! after about 20 seconds it stopped but started again for another 20 odd sec's ...this went on for about 5-10 minutes :confused: i know the pump primes when you go to start the engine but why did it pulse like this after i stopped. it didn't happen when i returned home this evening cheers gaz

My car is squaling like a stuffed pig and I am guessing it is my alternator belt as it seems to stop after a bit. How easy is it to tighten it? It goes into redline on 25th to get a new one so I just need to get by till then... Cheers guys...

have removed aircon rad etc.. but do i need to replace the black electric fan that was infront of it?? or can i do away with it?? cheers in advance guys ;)

I have recently changed my exhaust for a nice new shiney SS system with decat :hyper: ... but it now seems to have lots of carbon deposits on the tail pipes after even a 10 mile run... I changed the air filter for a blitz one too... After a bit of advice i reset the ecu by disconnecting the battery overnight - but its still happening :headvswal !! loads of carbon - is it running rich? What can i do to get her running sweet? Z Man
