Right, next problem! I have a clicking noise coming from dash/bulkhead area. it clicks 4/5 times then waits 10 seconds before clicking again. From searching the forum I have come to the conclusion that it is the TPS. but I don't know what the TPS is or how to locate it. Can it be cleaned or should it be replaced? Thanks, Mike...

The rear end of my car has been lowered a very long way, I cannot even get my finger between the tyre and the arch! (check the photo). This is also causing a quite ridiculous camber! I have never fiddled with suspension before and I could really do with some help. Does anyone have TEIN coilovers who might be able to give me a little advice? Or even better, is there anyone relatively close to me who could help me out? I would obviously drive to see you and drop off some beer tokens. Thanks, Mike...

My climate control does not work in cold mode and pumbs out hot air. I'm thinking that the valve that controls the water has jammed or broke. Any ideas where it's located?

Hi I am trying to find the cheapest car insurance quote for my zed. I have a tt, 1990 model. I am only 23 which counts out a lot of insurance companies. I am currently insured with elephant, I pay £680 fully comp. the question is.... Hello, I just read an old thread about the 300zxs recirculating blow off valves and had the thought that maybe it would be possible to block off the part that recirculates the air back into the main air pipe and just have the bov's venting to air so as to get the whooshing sound without having to spend 175 quid on a dump valve kit as i am flat broke. does anyone know if this is possible and is it a good idea or could it possibly cause damage to the car. cheers. Had some work done over the weekend, and when I got her back the steering wheel is out of alignment. Is it easy to take off and put right or is it a pain in the ar5e to do.

can some body give me a picture of the ecu compartment in the passenger footwell i need to see if i have a differrent ecu set up to yours. i seem to have two boxes down there, and the bigger one to the left towards centre of car has a big turbosystems stamp and sticker on it. does this mean the ecu has been changed within the box itself? thanks in advance car hopefully is ready to roll next week simon

Hi folks, I'm picking up my new Z tomorrow (300zx Twin Turbo). Couple of questions for the more knowledgable folks who know about these cars: 1) What should I specifically look out for when I inspect the car before handing over the cash. 2) Does 21,000 miles on a 1990 seem unrealistic? 3) What is the max boost the stock turbos can run safely? 4) What oil do you recommend? the last few times ive started the car first thing its sounded a bit rough, but not rattley, it sounds almost like its missing and exhuast is slightly poppy(if ya know wot i mean), and theirs quite a bit of white/pale grey smoke coming out of the exhuast especialy on the passenger side, but seems to settle down after about 10-15mins, car seems to drive ok though after the 10-15min period, is it posibly the O2 sensors. my cars a '90 twin turbo with 75,000 miles. any ideas cheers si

Been emailing someone in japan re: some parts etc, and he mentioned in passing that Nismo have discontinued 555cc injectors for the z32?!? Apparently its been passed on to tomei - who made the nismo injectors in the first place! Anyone else heard this or is he pulling my plonker?

Hi there. Put the air con on cold the other day, it started to cool down, once it got cold it then proceeded to warm up and belt out hot air. Any ideas as i want to sort it before the really hot weather.

Hi, Back again. Can anybody tell me why both the engine oil dipstick and the autobox dipsticks would be pushed out of there respective pipes by about half an inch each? I have seen this posted up on the forum before but cant remember what the cause was. Any help appreciated.

Can anyone who has had Falken tyres on theirs Zeds tell me what the wear rate is like on them? My fronts are due for replacement in a couple thousand miles and am considering Falkens as replacements to the Bridgestones I have on at the mo.

i have brought an Audio leads amp kit. In it comes a black nicle positive battery terminal, some amp cable, etc. in the picture below is a picture of the 35mm cable, + battery terminal and a thread insert i believe is to attach the cable to the terminal. the insert screws into ther terminal. but how does it hold the cable? The insert will hold the outside insulation of the cable. but this is no good, for true contact. i cannot believe you have to either crimp it or solder it. As the gap between the actual metal cable and the insert is quite large. Please help Regards Kev

Hi all.. Quick question, my driver side door seems to be on slight slope, there even a ridge in the bracket which the door shuts onto that its made for itself.. is there something i can 'tighten' or would i need to take the door off and r-hinge it... am i making sense....sorry, im tired! :o

Need some advice, Im just pulling the car apart for a major body mod plus pipes, brakes, rads etc etc. While Im at it I will be installing an HKS Super Dragger exhaust - If? I decat it what are the downsides n upsides? Will it shorten the life o the tubs? What do I need to be aware of to sort out while doing this? Cheerz m8's Marc
