Obviously this will apply when fitting security systems to any car but USUALLY, what kind of immobiliser is the standard cat 1? Is it built into the key or is it a code you type in? Or something else? Cheers Al

I will be at crail on Sunday and I am going to give the car a go on the 1/4 for my first time. I have a couple of questions: 1. With the car being an auto, which is the best way to start off the line 2. Is there anything I can do to help the car go down the track, ie by driving. No losing weight jokes etc please  . TIA, Dave G

As i understand it jap fuel is 99RON, optimax is 97RON and premium unleaded is 95RON. As optimax is the closest you can get (without additive) to the jap fuel I always use it but I just put 30 quid in at 99.9p and it only took my fuel gauge to half! Also I just did a 150mph run up the dual carrage way so used most of it already! What are the conserquences on using 95RON unleaded in a j spec car? Anyone tried it? Will it overheat and explode?

Anyone got any advice for restoring leather seats? The two front seats in my Zed have a certain amount of cracking in the normal places. There are no rips or severe wear. The back seats are mint, which is nice!! Thanks

As suggested I tested the right hand side with Datascan, but got very different O2 result between the two sides, can someone advise which side is faulty? Right hand side At Idle sits at about 90, as the rpm is increased to 2000 it gently swings between 90 and 10 (about 1-2 seconds per oscillation), and continues to do so at a steady 2000rpm. Left hand side Sits at 35 at idle, as rpm is increased towards 2000 it dips slightly to about 32 and stays there, at 2000rpm it stays at 32, but when the throttle is released it slowly rises to 55 and then falls away to about 35 again. Would I be correct in assuming that the left hand side sensor is defective, as it…

Anyone want my stock TT exhaust? it's pretty much the full thing, cats and all, with a hks superdragger at the rear. Only thing that's been done to it is the 2 wire things that go in to the cats were cut. It's in audenshaw (edge of manchester) and it needs to be collected soon. also got air con compressor and some random other bits. I think I've still got the stock rad (looking a bit rusty) and probably the auxilary fan (although I'll have to check it's still there).

Today while trolloping to work, I see a TT JDM zooming past me with 20 inch alloys. From an initial look, it seemed it had eibach springs and kybs. Just wanted to ask, how is this possible ? I thought the maximum u could fit was 19s. Any ideas folks ?
