After chatting witha few guys it appears the zed center isnt quite double din? Is this correct? Can it be modified to take a double din unit? Just looking at several ice options

OK Following my plan to either boost the hell out of the existing engine or TT a V8 I am left with the more pressing need of stopping the damn thing. Whats the most cost effective solution. 200mph is the goal, and I am not kidding, as some may already know.

trying to find out how to remove the little plastic glass strips down the sides of the front fogs ,,they are brand new and didnt want to brake them,anyone done this before i attempt it ,,more info the better thanks in advance

I'm looking for a muffler to quieten a monsterously loud 5" bore on my newly acquired Z. The car looks great but sounds like the space shuttle taking off when I put my foot down. At my age, I'm after something a little more understated. Looking into buying 'twin-twins' but in the meantime I need to deaden the sound of my current exhaust - or my neighbours will have me evicted. Any help gratefully welcomed. Does someone have one for sale?

right i wanna chip my na i got the timing advanced but 4degrees an a cat back big bore exhaust, what kinda power increase am i gonna be lookin at or is it variable for diffrent products. any recomendations for where i should get it done? :confused:

Leather seats are great. But these weigh a ton and i keep slipping to the side on corners. Anyone got nice light seats (not too blingy) in their car? Interested to see pics ;)

someof you guys know I am having a engine built locally. Unfortunatly there is bad news. The spare engine has a crack in the bore #3 during crack inspection of the donor engine, so it back to teh drawing board. after a lot of concideration I am seriously thinking of going down teh v* TT rout, BUT I have 2 brand new 16G's, anyone know if these will work on a SBC or SBF? and whats the cost of a cheap engine with forged internals

Bought this the other day and it was a god send for taking the oil filter off. Says on the tin adjustable oil filter remover 65-120mm diameter, suitable for restricted access as the Zed is, grips tighter as more force is applied. Used the other day and was the easiest I have ever removed an oil filter. Just thought I'd post it up here as most of us do our own oil changes and not seen anything like this posted before. Oh better tell you where I bought it, happy halfrauds £16.99 :bow:

just had to take wheel off to because off rubbing on inner wheel arch and it looks like a bombs gone off and i think its called a carbon cainster is in bits and holes in hard pipes going to it .what does it do and do i need to get a new one . and what is it doing to the engine /fuel system not being on there

I've got blue/grey smoke coming from one pipe when it's hot. It doesn't seem to be smoking all the time so it's confusing me a bit. The same pipe pushes out more condensation when starting from cold too. My 3 choices that I can think of are; Piston rings PCV valves (not sure what they are though ) Valve stem oil seals. The car had a rebuild (ztech) with new turbos in November so I'm thinking that there shouldn't be any problems. Help me please.

Removed K&N filter and suction hoses - noticed that passenger side is sucking more air than Drivers side when idling!! Is this correct???? i know i have AFM disconected but that shouldn't change draw the turbo's create!!! Had her Rolling Road'd the other week and only got 246BHP from her!!! So stipped off front end to have a look. Can anyone tell me if this is the characteristics of their motor??????

My clutch slave cylinder has been leaking for a while now (2 years!) so I purchased a seal kit off Mike at MJP. Has anyone replaced their slave cylinder seal before? Any info as to what is involved would be much appreciated before I get under the car :bow: CheerZ Steve :)

How do you take off the headrests on a Zed. ? :bow: They go up and down but can not find a way to remove them.Is there a catch somewhere ?
