Yes it's them Jap lights again. Ok, lost dip on the driver side. Fair enough. Removed the bulb, had another bulb but with no earth strap, so soldered one on. replaced the bulb, turned on the lights. On came all the lights but not the one I replaced. When I say all the lights, I mean the left hand dip and both full beams at the same time, but only verry dim. Could this be a faulty bulb? When I remove the new bulb I get working lights on the left and nothing on the right. Are both dip and full beam fed by the same feed? and do I have to have the dip bulb conected to get full beam? Any one help ( if you can understand what I mean) Chris..

Hi all, My Zed has been leaking brake fluid from the master cylinder area for a while so I fitted a new seal kit at the weekend. Trouble is, it's still leaking. I believe there was a fault with early master cylinders, anyone know what it was or if mine can be fixed? The leak seems to be from the back between the vac. booster and the master cyl. and is fairly slow. Thanks in advance.

Hi, I was checking something out with datascan and I noticed my O2 sensor going up and down, all over the place. After I rev it, it will sit at about 17 for 10 seconds, then pop straight up to 80 odd. Then A/F ratio and the O2 sensor go rich lean, rich lean, up and down, then settle about 17. Is this ok? I have a JWT chip..

when i turn on the lights i get a buzzing noise from light bulb check relay in th back panel between the rear lights is this normal

Does anyone have any idler pulleys available? The local garage doing the cambelt said that they are worn.

How the hell do you do it?? just cant seem to get to the metal bracket thing that holds the connecter in!! :slap: Any hints?!

I have just had a full rebuild, but do I need another one if I want my engine to rev to 8000rpm, or can I just fit uprated conrods pistons and head bolts? would it make more sense to buy a 2nd engine and get it built to the spec I want, then swap them over? What do you guys think? Dont want to spend a million quid, but I can see this wont be cheap!

Hi fellars I'm needing a single washer jet for a Z32, anyone got one going spare?

I need to get my block machined for larger pistons, but I've read that it should be done with torque plates / deck plates in place. Anyone know of a machine shop or garage that already has the plates for a vg30? don't want to foot the bill to get those made.

Does spraying the hotwire in the MAF with alcohol or carb cleaner actually make a difference? Anyone done it and noticed more power?

Changed the stereo in the car the other day and everything was working fine then suddenly when i was driving the lights jumped to full beam and all dash and rear lights went out! When I was going over a speed bump they all came back on then bout an hour later same again and been like that for two days now! just got the car back on the road from a bump in december and now this! Ive checked all the fuses I can see and they seem to be cool. Anyone got any ideas what this could be? How can i check the relay to be sure? They seem to be alright!

I know my Z's off the road needin an engine and this is the last think i should be thinking of but can anyone technical answer this, If you bolt on a supercharger or turbo kit would you have to change the internals of the engine or would it run as it was?? Eg ECU, Cams, Crank etc....

Hi all, Does anyone know of any garages that fix 300's, dunno if luke fixes them or just sells parts. I know theres one in tamworth, but i was looking for one closer as i dont know if the car will make it that far. I have had a few problems with my zed but don't have enough knowledge of these cars to do it alone. Firstly my HICAS link bar needs checking, i don't know if it is this that is causing a problem or not so don't want to go buying bits for it to find out its not that! My horn/cruise control has also packed in, have tried another relay to no avail. Also the handbrake has low effort and a wheel bearing needs replacing. This car is 2 months overdue going back on the road so any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance

Hi All, Forgot to ask this when i replaced my stock airfilter with the Apexi.. The metal 'mesh' that on the MAF - was sort of all torn away on the one side..do you think it might need replacing? - the unit - not the mesh! Thanks oh - any ideas on prices for a new MAF? Ta

I’ve had my Z for a month now and like many I’m busy making it better, in this day of big firms stitching up the public for not following the exact letter of the law/contract, how often should you tell the insurance company about mods, and which mods? Do you tell them every time you make a change (pain in the butt, and I’d guess that they will charge an admin fee even just to add a simple item). Would your insurance be void if you had a crash on a Monday and hadn’t told them about fuel lines/ECU Chip you added on the Sunday?
