Hi All It would appear that I need a new Speedo as mine isn't giving the correct read out and it only goes up to 100mph. So the options are:- a) New standard speedo £100 + £40 to fix or b) New non standard speedo. Anybody got a picture of a standard (1989 G reg Jap Twin Turbo) or can recommend any non standard speedos? Owned her a day and here's the first problem. The left wing mirror seems to get stuck when I try to fold them in. Anyone else had this problem?

Hi people, Hope all you guys are ready for the summer with your zeds. Mine has just come back out on the road after about 5 months. Been a really long wait. Had an engine rebuild done. Got 6months warranty on the engine and want to use it to the max and get the mechanic to look at the engine fully every now and then. When i got the car back, on the way home, it started missfiring, so took her back to the garage and the guy looked at it. Came out that one of the coils had given up so got the changed. No problem. Now its been 5 days of having it(have to say I did miss her loads) and last night it has started missfiring on higher revs/speeds. Has that again got to do wi…

hi looked on the nissan disc at my light problem it shows the dim dip lamp control unit passenger side some where just wondering where it is. Is in inside the car or under inner wheel arch as the picture is crap and i can not tell. cheers chris

Hi all I am looking for an upgrad to my SWB. Have around £500 to spend. Don't want new wheels as I have just put a new set of bots on the 17's I have so will perhaps go for 18's when the tyres need renwing next time. Thought about some new brakes or perhaps an upgrade to the sound system. As you can see from the photos it already has a kit on but don't think I could do that for 500 anyway. Hiya guys. Well I got about £120 to spend on the Zed, I would like a boost gauge, but rather than spend say £50 on a gauge and a single pod, could I get some digital boost controller that will also show me what boost am running for that kinda figure ? Whats my best options on monitoring boost levels with me £120. Cheers. Matt :)

Noticed a small pool of grease coming what appears to be a suspension bush (see pic) Can anyone confirm exactly where it's come from?? and what needs to be replaced. Cheers Phil

HELPi have ind,main beam, the lights come on main beam no dip,no front fog,no back. the inside light on panel do not come on i can use rear heater crusie control but the fog does not come on have changed the unit complete still same the clock works but when lights switched on does not dim...have changed all relays with my m8 have replaced all fuses in footwell. please whelp me i`m going mad.... the original prob was the rear fogs were not attachend, we went to attach to switch. then the problem occured when i put my lights on first click nothing happens no clock dim etc...no lights on at front. when i turn switch to full lights main beam only comes on...no back but s…

Are Zed headbolts stretchbolts? Do they need replacing when refitting heads? I recall reading somewhere that the headbolts on Zeds were not stretchbolts.

Not long had my ZED (1994 TT MAN uk car) The car run's about 13psi so i don't think it's standerd, i'm looking for 400bhp is this hard to get and how much??? Also what do boost jets do??? My mate zx run's 14psi and is a lot faster

Guys will these make much difference on a zed? What sort of price are people paying for these? Im swapping out my fluid anyway so was thinking maybe but some braided brake lines on as well, not bothered about the look really more after braking increase!

Howdy guys. OK my car came with two nasty tape players in, neither worked, so I whipped em out only to find neither had power running to em anyway. So I junked the two nasty units and I would like to install a nice JVC cd player I seen in halfords. I am just unsure I will be able to do this, as the wires that are in the car make no sense whatsoever to me :( Can anyone make head or tail of this lot ? theres a single brown wire, red, black, then one black wire that goes into a great bunch of wires, that cant be right can it ? How easy is it to remove the radiator shroud chaps??

I now think ive ruled out a problem with the boost controller, unless it is the soleniod stuck in the same position. Even if i turn off the boost controller off all together, its still pumping out abou 15 psi at wide open throttle, having said that if i put the controller on the hi setting it can hit max of 16psi before it alarms and backs off. Fookin thing is doing my head in, is there a simple method of unplumbing the controller and putting it back to stock, to rule the controller out altogether. Its a greddy profec e01 if that helps. Any ideas appreciated on causes of this or ways to test the wastegates etc. :headvswal
