hi guys, i wanted to know what you guys think my zed is worth! 1992 UK spec car, red technically 3 owners, but really i'm the second owner. (first owner transferred car to company name) 44,000 miles, Full Nissan Service History front nismo tension rod bushes rear polybushes blueflame oval cat back exhaust apexi air intake cloth interior alpine cd/mp3 player standard otherwise excellent condition inside and out. sorry i have no pictures at the moment, but the condition is excellent, especially for its age.

Saw Grey and Black Z32s together driving past the Garden centre near Burnham-on-sea who are you? I did wave but you probably were not taking any notice of a blue honda accord!!!

Drive the car gently until engine has reached normal temp. The first time I "boot it" the clutch seems to slip under boost. After that it's fine. Clutch bites at about 3/4 up. No problem with hill-starts. Is this the first sign that i'm gonna have to throw even more money at the damn thing!!!? Would it save some labour if I have the prop shaft centre bearing done at the same time, cause that's on its way out too...? Thanks guys :bow:

My Boost gauge is just dead. Had a new engine put in and I think they didnt connect it. I am a new owner so if anyone can help me, Where do I start looking??

Hey there I have a Auto TT. When ever I accelerate hard the 'power' light illuminates and just stays on until you turn off or change the gearbox setting. Surely the lights is meant to go off by itself after a few secs or mins?? ANy help

I have a light permanently lit on the dash saying "lights', Can anyone help me this and what it means? (in the Auto Tranny)Also when I accelerate hard a light on the dash that says 'Power' comes on but stays on till I switch off the car. what gives?? Thanks

Something has happened to my valves. The car pulls great then all of a sudden it starts to missfire like a pig and then returns back to normal.Theres no telling where when or why it happens. I did a compression test and no 3 and 5 cylinders are down to 60psi allthough when its running well you would never believe it. I think its time for a new engine :headvswal And this one has only been in a couple of months :cry: :cry: :cry:

. When my overdrive is turned off and the car is cruising(not accelerating), the car seems to jump up and down a gear like someone is holding it back and then letting go and so forth. Please help??

Please help guys, New Zed owner and not sure sure where to start looking. Idling very rough and stalls when cold. Also mslighly missing in very low revs but power is there. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

Any help on how to rid the noise from one of the hydraulic lifters? At least thats what I think the noise is??

Hi guys. I have checked all the electronics through Nissan but all looks okay. The engine is Idling very rough and misses in the low revs when you accelerate. Any advice or help??

Do any of the upgrade tubs,i.e. HKS, GREDDY etc, make provision for the turbo coolant pipes? :confused: ;)

A few weeks ago the alarm on my car started going off for no reason whatsoever..... A week later the AA came out tested the alternator which was charging at 14.4 said that was ok but the battery was not holding the charge. Went to Nissan asked for a new one as mine is under warranty who told me to bring the car in they would test it overnight.....how could i as the battery was ***ked. Anyway they let me have a new one but one of the parts guys said 14.4 was charging too high although i thought this was fine???? All seemed well then for no reason again alarm starts going off which is now does after about 3/4 hour.....re-set it and it does the same.... …

So, the 300ZX starter motor sounds like it's been running on a Talbot Horizon. Can you fit a newer one from a 350Z that doesn't sound like a prehistoric motor?

... I reckon. Have now spent ages messing around with new injector & coil pack connectors for cylinders one and six, end result is I now have 5 working cylinders rather than the 4 when I started. However, no matter what I do I can't get number 6 injector to operate, so I reckon it's had it. Bummer - that means plenum off etc etc etc

i seen a grey zed with a single exit exhaust in weston on saturday lwb an it had a pram handle on it. an i seen a red lwb zed gold split rims an pram handle in clevedon today (sunday) i waved at ya

My zed hit 16.6 psi yesterday with the boost controller switched off. Im wagering theres nowt wrong with the BC now and thinking it could be a sticky wastegate. Anyone know a way of bypassing a boost controller to see how it performs stock. Also can a leak in any of the pipes cause overboost like this?? I knew the zed had been trouble free for too long!!!

Bit of a problem again, I can't seem to engage gears properly, any gear, very rough and clutch bite point is low, no leakage, clutch fluid level is ok, the problem appeared instantly, any ideas?
