I just had a go at the handbrake (which nearly reaches the roof now) - Slackened off the 10mm nut on the handle, but which way do I move the star adjuster - up or down? Also, is there only one of these on each side (on the bottom)...??

Hi all My stock oil pressure gauge is totaly rubbish and doesnt work most the time. I have bought a set of guages one being an oil pressure gauge with its sender. I'm not bothered about the oem gauge so im just going to get rid of the old sender and fit my new one in its place (connected to new gauge). I will probably experiment with connecting the oem gauge to the new sender as well as the aftermarket one as the voltage should remain the same so they should both work. I was wondering though if the ecu monitors oil pressure like it monitors water temp etc, if so what effects could this have? Also is there anything else important connected to the stock oil …

Hiya guys. Re: ECU Code 55 - Despite 0-60 in 7 secs :( Well I managed to have a go at reading the ECU codes on the cars ECU today. I opted for the removing the floor panel and rotating that dial on the ECU itself, rather than the diagnostics port in the engine bay. What I found was Code 55 :( so theres no errors whatsoever :( So how come I am still gettin 0-60 in 7 secs ? I've put 97Ron Premium unleaded in it as apposed to the 95 RON that was in it, and I reset the ECU by taking battery off for 24 hrs just to make sure, its made no difference. My mate will leave me for dead in his L reg WRX although at the mo he admits defeat, h…

My driver seat has almost fully disintegrated in the usual place, and I can't be arsed with a re-trim. What is the best aftermarket seat that takes the least amount of work to make fit with the electrics (it's a UK series 2)? I'm more concerned about comfort than race-worthiness (as I have a wide ass - me, not the car), but if there's a racy seat that would bolt-on more easily then I might be tempted. Opinions greatly appreciated.

It Also seemed to running a little rich, so im thinking maybe plugs? or lasy o2 sensors?? Dirty Airfilter??? Also, was a little tappety on start up and was told it had been running 5-40 semi synth all its life?? take it its time to go to 5-50 Pro S???? anyways just gotta count the days…

Fitting new shocks and springs very shortly and just wondered if there was anything else worth doing at the same time. Nothing too expensive but anything that may as well be done whilst its coming apart Cheers
