Can anyone tell me the torque settings for the rear subframe bolts as i am planning on swapping the old bushes for some solid metal ones . :confused:

Im having a job to remove the bolt that holds the inner / upper track arm in position. Its the adjustable one and so Im not sure of the design and I have never removed one of these before. I really could use some advise from someone who knows what Im talking about and has removed it themselves.

Got this rumble kind of grind noise as I turn my stearing. It sounds like its coming from the rear. Does anyone know if the hicas has an effect on the wheel brgs or if I get air in the atf fluid it will make that sort of noise. Chears.

It would appear that my aftermarket exhaust has been made without holes for the two secondary o2 sensors. As they were tucked underneath the car, only noticed when one fell out and was dragging down the road. What's the impact on my car's runnin without these in the exhaust???? Any ideas would be a help, cheers :bow:

well i think the prob is i am getting no power to the switch on the dim headlights i think looking at picture it goes to m55 can anyone help how am i going to rewire to the switch..

hi all sounds like a piece of plastic stuck in one of the tyres on the drivers side poss rear, i can only hear it at low speeds, and theres nothing in the tyres and i cant find / see anything wrong. any ideas i havent :headvswal

I hate to sound ignorant but can anyone tell me what a 'slicktop' is? I've heard it battered around on this forum but can say for definite what it is apart from making a few assumptions (such as convertible). If someone could clear that up it would be appreciated! Cheers, Paul.

Hi guys, Got the rear seatbelts and car seat finally fitted today and at the same time I got the mechanic to take a look at the suspension as I posted before it's a REALLY harsh ride. He said everything looked fine although there was a little 'play' in the rear wheels. It was a nice suprise however to see a full Bilstein setup! He suggested that it's probably just set to max stiffness and reducing that would probably cure the problem. He didn't want to touch them though as he wasn't familiar with the shockies. Can anyone recommend somewhere (Scotland, Edinburgh/FIFE/Central area) that I could get them adjusted? And additionally...would you agree with t…

can anyone help please when i have the light switch off that turns lights on. doing a multi meter check the two top pink wire give me 12.3v should i get any of the bottom ones. the prob is the lights are out only main beam have checked all fuses and relays. only one not checked are ones behind fuse panel. also the circut breaker behind the fuse panel as it says breaker does it need resetting or anything is short in system anywhere. i have looked at the wire sheet and i think the one i get power from on the light switch is 5=6 thats all. cheers :confused:

Hi guys, Im viewing a 300zx tomorrow. Its all UK registered but is still in KPH and has delimiter. Whats involved in converting to MPH? Is is purely electrical or mechanical too? Secondly, how much to remove limiter and do MPH change? Any recommendations to get this conversion done?

Hi guys My car is idling very roughly and engine also not running smoothly. The Power is definately there as the car still moves but just not smoothly. The previous engine blew so I replaced it with a recon motor. Any help on what to start doing first to locate the problem?? Thanks

Hi guys, Richie here again!! I've replaced my PTU with a series 2 unit and replaced the engine cooling sensor but the mechanic says the car is still not charging the battery!! He says that the charging warning light doesn't come on so its not the alternator. Could it be the CAS connection and how do I go about sorting it out? If not the CAS what else is there?? i am shortly selling my 200sx and figure that the next sensible step would be to a 300. i will have about 4k to spend. i guess what id realy like is a tt swb manual but dont think ill find one for that money ( although there is one on your board) has anyone owned both a 200 and 300, any views. i have read the buyers guide but i cannot seem to find out if rust is an issue on these cars. help would be most welcome

Ok, I've ruled out a starter problem as I've replaced it and I still can't get it to start, battery wise I know it's a bit low and could be an earthing problem somewhere but I've did a jump start with my other car and the car turns over but doesnt start. Spark plugs have all been replaced, though I need to find a day when it's not sooo rainny to check for spark. Car has been turnt over with the fuel pump fuse out just in case it might have been a flooded engine. Now that the plenum is off I'd like to get it cleaned up. Don't want to go for polished as that's far too bling for my liking. Anyone know the sort of place that may be able to do this ? Of course if it's Essex/Herts or even Cheshire then that would be best for me.
