Hi Guys, I'm new to the site as I'm looking to buy a 1991 300zx twin turbo and that is where my problem begins!!! I don't really know anything about the cars except they look awesome and go like stink.......I want one! I understand that there is a few things that could be wrong with the car that aren't obvious unless you know what you are looking for, I have found a car and was wondering if there anyone near Farnham in Surrey that could come and have a look at it with me? Instead of having one boost gauge, is it possible to plumb in one per turbo so you can see how both are performing?

Sorry to sound foolish but Where are the injector connectors and how do I check them to see if all is okay? Thanks

Greetings, I need your help guys and gals. My Zed is being lowered with Eibach springs with a 40 mil drop all round. Also the shocks are being changed with KYBs. Now the situation we have is that I am totally confused regarding what size aloys and tyres will fit without needing to roll the arches or face rubbing on the springs a full lock. Thus can some one please confrm whether 19" rims would fit after the new suspension build. I was hoping for 8.5x19 fronts and 9.5x19 rears with 235 35 19 and 265 40 19 tyres. Will these fit or am I being overly ambitious ? Finally what would everyone recommend in terms of alloy sizes ? Would 18s be better than 19s or vice versa ? Who st…

Right, a couple of weeks ago I noticed that my starter was making a grinding noise on turning the key, this happened occasionally, but soon got worse, doing it 2 and 3 times before it would work, so I got my battery tested as this can cause the problem if the battery's on its way out. Battery was tip top, so I left the garage who tested the battery with a grinding starter, went home, checked on here to place a wanted starter motor ad in the wanted section, then after a few days of starter grinding horribleness I had a reply from a member off here saying he had one, so I called him and sent off a cheque promptly, after trying to start the car 4 times before the starter w…

came to put on my new wheels today only to find the standard nissan nuts wont screw in :headvswal there is no room around the edges so what do i do? is there any nuts that screw in from the top? if so...where from? cheers fellas

I have some new steering bush's. The one on the passenger side is a doddle to get of and replace. But how the rubber duck do you wiggle the steering rack so the drivers side steering bush can be removed and replaced. I also have disconnected the steering rack rods from the wheel mount\brake disc area. I have given the rack some serious welly with a crowbar but the rack wont budget enough.

Well its not falling off but the side where it curls around the car isn't connected to the car. It's the nissan oem with the break light and its in great condition apart from that. Whats the best way to get it re-connected and would it be a simple job?

Well sort of, I need the 2 rear chrome trim covers as both of mine are scuffed. Ive tried Luke etc and have had no luck. They are for the 10Jx18 wheel (255 tyres) Anyone know where I can get some and a price? Cheers

Got a Razo fitted at moment and am wondering a few things. A. Can it auto lock the car after it shuts off? (Clifford G3 or G4) on car at moment with central locking working fine. If I get out and manually lock the door with timer running, then when it shuts off it unlocks the doors!!! There is a black wire coming from it going under the dash somewhere( I think this is an earth) and tapped into this are 2 green wires which goto a Sigma Door box. B. Is there any way it can auto-arm at the same time when it shuts off C. There is a blue wire going somewhere - I take it this goes to the ECU for the speed wire. I also have a greddy full auto time…

Hi guys / girls..... went for a drive today as you do in this weather and noticed that my rev counter needle sticks in various places ( its not touching the clock facia )... it works fine then the needle stops at random places then it works ok again.... any ideas to what it might be before I start stripping things down ? thanks very much.... I had a recon engine put in after the old one overheated and now the 'light' indicator is lit on the dash. I have checked all bulbs and they seem to be okay. Any advice?

Howdy guys. I was doin general maintenance checks round the car as ya do today, when sat in drivers seat I thought I would check all the buttons for the electric seat. In a nutshell I pressed the seat right far forward, then when I pressed the button to push the seat back it didnt work lol so I was actually stuck against the steering wheel, kinda scary, brute force managed to get me out :( So anyway I check the elec buttons and the seat only goes forward, not back, great I thought.. so I took switch to bit, and boinggg springs and ball bearings all over place :( I managed to locate em and check the switch, squirt of WD40 and the seat moved forward and …

As the title suggests. I need to know where I can get hold of the fuse for my main headlights. Anyone?

Can anyone tell me what causes the above? I set it to 15 btdc and you can watch it with a gun and it will suddenly jump to above TDC and then return. Anyone had this happen to them? Steve.

Looks like my drivers side window motor has died. Stripped the door down last night and soldered some dry joints in the control box which I've heard is a common fault but still not working. Tested there's power to the motor (25v?) so looks like it's failed. How easy are they to swap? I couldn't really see the motor from any angle, even with the metal speaker panel removed. Looks like a PITA to do :confused: If anyone has a drivers side motor going spare PM me :)
