I have been searching all over the place for answers. I've got this buddy with a naturally aspirated 92 300ZX and about a three weeks ago his car entered the shop to have the engine swapped out for the twin turbo engine, tranny, ecu, wiring harness, so on and so forth. Well, the shop ran into one problem. Not really a major one because it doesn't effect the drivability of the car, just the comfort. On the naturally aspirated engine the power steering pump uses two line to run from the tank to the pump, but in the TT model the pump and tank rely on three lines and a valve. Why is this, and can we get away with not using the third line and valve with the pump?

Hi, Im in the marketing in buying a 300zx TT. Many I have seen have holes in the dash where something had been previously mounted and removed. This makes me soooo mad! Is it possible to effectively repair these holes without it looking nasty!? Can anyone recommend somebody or a company that does such repairs at a reasonable cost?! I dont really want to go through having to fit a new dash. But if this was the case, how easy is it to fit a new dash? Anyone done it! I know im nit picking, but I want to perfect Z! Col

I was involved in an RTA last week where a rover of all things drove straight through a give way into the side of my zed, I have notified my insurance company (A-PLAN) they spoke to the other parties insurer (Norwich Union) who requested that i call them direct as they have admitted 100% liability for the accident and said it would be easier n quicker if i dealt with them direct , so far i have been sent to physiotherapy for the whiplash & back pains, and they have given me a brand new mercedes hire car, Norwich union told me to go get a couple of quotes and i have had my car assessed by Nissan dealer in Plymouth who gave an estimate of £5033.90 to do all body work an…

I have now found out that my Clifford 850 is not thatcham approved :headvswal I couldn't be more p1ssed off about it :headvswal Anyway, now I need to get a Thatcham approved Category 2 immobiliser fitted. I have been quoted £125 by In Car Electrics, just down the road and Bob from SafeandSound in Chester quoted £80... So, first question, does anyone know a good cheap fitting place near me? Second question, and the real problem is: I don't want the cat 2 immobiliser to interfere with the turbo timer that is part of my clifford alarm at the moment. Is this possible? Thanks, Mike...

Hi Guys, I'm new to the site as I'm looking to buy a 1991 300zx twin turbo and that is where my problem begins!!! I don't really know anything about the cars except they look awesome and go like stink.......I want one! I understand that there is a few things that could be wrong with the car that aren't obvious unless you know what you are looking for, I have found a car and was wondering if there anyone near Farnham in Surrey that could come and have a look at it with me? Please call me on my mobile if you can help 07789 075197. Andy
