I got my short shift kit a couple of days ago. It came with instructions that say 2 of the 6 bolts you have to remove are accessed from under the car. Is this true as i have been told you can do it all from the top? The zchicks website doesnt say either! Thanks, Ed

There has been lots talked about with zeds juddering. Mine does after 60mph. But all the juddering comes from the front of the car and the front wheels have bad negative camber with uneven tyre wear. Basically if it comes from the front does that rule out the prop shaft bearing being shot? I realised this week that my zed is lowered and has standard upper suspension links - not adjustable ones to get the camber to 0 degrees. I have ordered some adjustable ones from zcentre for zedworld to fit :)

First of all I want to say thanks for all your help and I know I am posting a lot but I am new to this car and need lots of help for I have lots of things I want to do so please dont get annoyed. I am in the U.S. so keep that in mind when telling me what to buy. I am starting my list of things to do and replace/fix. Look at my other post for that list. My first thing I want to do is replace the manual transmission clutch fluid. The guy at the dealership told me it was old and rather mushy and not like it should be and just told me to change it. I have never done this on any car so I do not know what I need or anything, Thanks for all your help! Jordan Fluid: …

I apologize if this has already been discussed I tried to search for it but couldnt find it. I am wanting to change my manual shift knob on my 95, because its really worn. I found some I like at local stores. can I do this and if so how do I do it? I tried just to take it off like some other cars but it wouldnt budge. What do I do and will aftermarket shift knobs work? Thanks so much, Jordan

Man it's been a long time coming and after going through a litre of oil a WEEK! I can finally look to cleaning my driveway up ;) 3 Leaks in total have plagued me for friggin ages, After Jeff (Zedworld) re done my cam seals and cam belt, I was down to 2, but then he noticed the gap under the rocker covers was rather big, checked some other cars he had in and sure enough it was, managed to get a screwdriver to the front 3 screws and hey presto, they were really loose. So back another day to have the plenum whipped off and the rocker cover gaskets done and it turns out the screws were all only hand tight  So off i goes with me fingers crossed BUT, I still had 1 …

Hiya, My 300zx Twin-Turbo is poorly and I need a diagnostic if possible! I have an import, manufactured '93, automatic. The car used to drive just fine. Then, an intermittent problem occured where the gearbox suddenly wouldn't select drive. Three days later, and the gearbox won't select drive at all, same with 1st and 2nd. However it will still select reverse just fine. Is this a common fault? Any ideas what may be the problem and what the solution would be? When I start it up now, blue smoke will come out of the exhausts. Obviously burning oil... would it be the gearbox oil? Or is this another problem I got to worry about? Any help would …

Anybody know where I can get a clutch alignment tool from to fit my OS Giken Twin Plate Clutch as I have a universal one which I bought and is no good. I assume that any aftermarket one will fit (ACT RPS) but I can only see one in the states for sale and dont really want to wait for delivery. Or has any one for sale or borrow :D  This is the kind I mean. Thanks chaps.

I keep seeing you about 7.30am on some weekday mornings including today going west on the A609 towards Smally cross from Ilkeston. I was driving my red Z today so perhaps you saw me pass you from the other direction? Car looked to be a black, Uk spec with high spolier and lambo lights - nice looking motor!
