General Discussions - 300ZX Related

Looking for someone who can test fit a cosmetic engine product for me, it's quite a simple part and should take 5mins or so, however the instructions would need to be scanned and translated to English, ideally suit someone who likes a bit of bling. I can't do it myself as where this goes, I have removed some parts and it wouldn't fit correctly !! cheers smithy

Hi all - need to ask a couple of questions..if its dry this weekend -which i know it wont be but we live in hope..i was going to clean the throttle bodies...now...where are they!?! is the the two Outer pipes going into the engine, do i just take the jubilee clips off and remove the rubber piping? Also, was thinking about air flow to the induction kit - anyone rekon its worth getting say two cold air feeds and having them bent round inside the front bumber either side at the bottom up to the apexi induction kit... thanks for any help..

I've got a 1991 2+2 TT, when I change from 3rd to 4th over 3500rpm it seems to crunch a bit going into 4th, the guy I bought it from has changed the clutch recently....does anyone know what this could be?? All other changes are smooth as silk, even 3rd to 4th a low revs?

Traders, This is the last call for you to consider if you want to add a flyer to the Membership Pack documentation. The docummentation will be heading off to the printers within the next week, so we haven't got much time left. I am ordering 500 sets for the club, however, will only be using 300ish immediately to satisfy the members details I've managed to collect so far. OK I've istalled the software and registered but when I plug in the cable the hardware wizard is looking for software for the cable. What do I do.

Do they get easier with time?? I just fitted mine yesterday and followed the advice of not doing the bolt through the middle to tight as it makes for stiff gear changes, I testes it out properly today and I am pleased with the difference but I would not be able to do fast changes as it's a lot stiffer to get in gear than my old standard one.

Firstly thanks to Legrath for the datascan-im well impressed!If anybody hasnt got a Datascan or similar-get one!im sure it will be invaluable in the future for fault finding.I will put up some screenshots of my results soon but i have a few questions firts My Throttle (TPS) was between 0.30-0.31.Is this out as my idle is high (0950 rpm) Also my O2 sensors dont move much if not at all at idle however they go crazy at 2000 rpm.is this right?
