Hello people ive just purchased a 1991 zx300 non turbo auto and was wondering it has 113000 miles on the clock it has uk mph stickers on the clocks does this mean that the mileage is in miles or is the mileage clock still in kph due to it being a targa import? also is 113000 many miles on these cars? it have been well looked after and has recently had a timing belt fitted and service carried out.

Alright here is the deal, I went to get an alignment courtesy of the guy I bought it from and I had them check the car all they way over and found the following things wrong I plan to do in the next week. I am new to this car and dont know what kind of materials or fluids to buy or specialty tools so if you tell me or post links make sure to tell me those things, I appreciate you guys so much, I am in love with this car already. 1. Brake system flush 2. Hydrolic clutch flush, the fluid is mushy, old. 3. Replace front brakes (pads) 4. They wrote: Engine leaking from rear main seal. Not sure what this means? 5. Transmission is leaking, not sure what to do, ap…

Whats the black fan on the front of a rad to do? I thought it was for air con?? But it seems to be running when I dont have the a/c on. Not noticed it when starting up but def going when I get back. Engine hot. Any ideas?

OK, anyone got any idea what's about to let go......? the Z makes a low grinding/grumbling noise after coming to a stop - the noise is just like brakes grinding but is only apparent after the car comes to a stop, and then goes away after just a couple of seconds. Could be doing it while I'm stopping too of course, but can't hear that due to road noise etc. Gearbox bearings maybe ? :confused: Ta !

hi i have just got the front panel between the headlights with the 4 slot how have you attached the mesh behind it?

i been lookin ta get zed back to bogo basic.i need the original gearknob, stereo (cdplayer/tape deck) and the gaitor for the gear stick and dare i say it bags for me sunroof which r like rokin horse doodoo,any ideas.many thanks in advance

Here is a picture of the vents under my bumper. Now my car is an NA but the car came with the turbo style vents: When I was hosing the car the other day I noticed the paint started peeling away to reveal yellow underneath. Now I thought they're usually white underneath so any ideas what this is made out of? The paintwork down there is really shoddy too. Al

Having waited patiently for best part of 3 months whilst my car was having replacement engine and turbos, you can imagine my frustration to find out that whilst they were road testing my car it pissed all the coolant out and overheated the engine! Theyve now put another new engine in and have diagnosed the problem. One of the two copper pipes that go out of the engine into the heater matrix and back to the engine has perished and is the culprit. They are apparently having a go at soldering it (a viable idea?) which we will have to wait and see if it sorts it. Otherwise Ive gotta have a whole new heater matrix (along with the labour charge) or of course it can be disconnec…

Hi, I have just bought a 300zx Twin Turbo, collecting next week! My first task is to get it serviced i.e. oil change, gear box oil change, new brake pads and a good thorough check to make sure all is in order! Can anyone recommend a garage that is in reasonable distance to South East London. I'm from Bromley, Kent! I would like to take it to a Z specialist but I dont think there is anyone local, they all seem to be miles away. What about Abbey Motor sport? I know they deal with Skylines etc. Recommendations appreciated. Col
