anyone know if this is a neon or cathode tube/ led/ etc? if i could find out what type of light it is, i can make up some inverters for people to replace broken ones without buying whole new rear panel :)

Can anyone help me or shed any light on my problem? My beloved Zed decided to cut out and put on all her warning lights and refuse to start again on the M27, Nice! After about an hour she let me start her again and I lovingly persuaded her to get me home some 35 miles. Thinking that it was just a little upset by the nice weather for a change and as she started fine in the morning, I thought it was a one off; however in the evening driving home it did it again 3 times! but it let me start straight away after each time she cut out?! Next morning she wouldn't start for love nor money with all the warning lights still on. That afternoon when I got home, tryed it…

hi all. i know this sounds like a simple question.i have a 1990 na 300zx and would like to know if the brake pads are the same as a tt.[ calipers are 26mm one,s i think!.] reading the threads on here i know the callipers are not 30mm but are the pads the same?.if the na's are different where can i get some from as the local surpliers will not have a listing for them. thanks again everyone. trev.

This wheel hunting is doing my swede in!!!! Found a lovely set of 19s, 8.5" fronts and 10" rears, the only bit that worries me is that they are a +20 offset. Can I fit these without having to mod the arches? Or will they stick out and have to be flared? Help me please........... I will be forever greatful. :D

Hello Once I get past about 40mph, car starts to make a loud thundering noise and it vibrates through the car. It only stops when I go under 40mph again. Any ideas?

was doing my breaks today, and the front pass floor was wet with coolant, undid bolts holding arch lining in and the overfill bottle that is on the left with the yellow cap and long plastic dipstick was full to the top!!!!! on the bottle the is an underlined L and H low and high i belive. the coolant was bright green so its obviously the new stuff i put in, but i didnt fill this bottle myself. why was this bottle full of coolant??? and is it something i should be worried about? i emptied the bottle out and cleaned it out also as it had some brown crap in. is there a reason this fills up? my radiotor was full to the top and i did a slight drain out thro…

Hi All Just fitted super new crystal clear front bumper indicator units with Chrome bulbs. However on these they had the outer bulb holder cut out which was blanked off on the old ones. What are these for? Mine is a Jap import- are they used on the UK versions? The opening looks the same as on the side lights- does anyone have any old sidelight bulbholders that I can use as dummies with chrome bulbs? Also- are the amber sidelights on the rear bumper wired up & lit on some versions?- I would like to change these for clear also but they seem to be about £40 on ebay- bit steep for a tiny bit of plastic- anyone know of cheaper. Hi all, After fitting new clutch and flywheel last week the biting point has completely moved. I did adjust it on the clutch pedal but it has since moved back - right up the top. My question is can you actually adjust the biting point or will it keep moving back to where it wants? Thanks, Paul.

can anyone tell me if there are any markings on the standard pistons? i have my engine stripped at the moment and the pistons have markings on the crown and i not sure if they standard or not. the markings are 2 WYD 30P1 05..... any clues to these markings will be greatfully recieved.

My zed started boosting a wee bit over the 13 psi the controller was set to, so at the boat chunk and i lowered the settings on the controller to keep it at 13 ish, just took her out and shes trying to boost upto 15 with the lower settings. Even when i turn the controller off i get a boost of about 14 psi when i should be seeing around 9. I think ive eliminated the soleniod as if i give it 12v dc to the connecter, its clicking like it should. Any ideas appreciated.

I have 3 defi gauges in link system with a control unit. The gauges have been working fine but in the last day they are all over the place! The turbo boost is going nuts and every so often all 3 gauges just randomly turn themselves off and on! I know it sounds like a dodgy earth or power but i cant trace a problem anywhere! If one gauge is dodgy does it bring the others down also as they are linked together? Any advice is welcome
