coming from braintree towards chelmsford on a trailer looked kitted up??

I have 3 defi gauges in link system with a control unit. The gauges have been working fine but in the last day they are all over the place! The turbo boost is going nuts and every so often all 3 gauges just randomly turn themselves off and on! I know it sounds like a dodgy earth or power but i cant trace a problem anywhere! If one gauge is dodgy does it bring the others down also as they are linked together? Any advice is welcome

I know this has been done to death but......i've searched here and the settings vary quite a lot.By the way i have the following Apexi Mongoose Uprated Chip... What are the basic settings for this? Which should i adjust and test to give me the most amount of boost up to 15psi?????

Just thought i'd try again as i've had no luck really! Looking for a NSF winf as some *&%(&*$&^^@{}~*** drove into it a few weeks back and gave me a nice fat dent :( Hope you guys can help! Rich

Started to run on five cylinders last week and wouldnt go back to six. Checked coil packs and no 2 was doing nothing i.e when car was running taking it off didnt adjust revs. Went over to Z Tech and was getting fuel and spark but compression test showed to be very low (130 if i remember correctly) and on no 1 was even lower, i think 100. Anyway back home i came and suddenly it started running on 6 again and felt like nothing was wrong. This morning i have taken her out and refilled with Tesco 99ron, on way home she dropped back to five then after a few mins back up to 6 again. Could this be anything silly or is it time to rebuild the engine?

well as i havent had any offers on the car im going to do some more work on it. i intend to take the gearbox out and do a complete refurb on the plates and bearings, hopefully mike feeny can supply it for me. just need as much information from those who have removed and replaced the gearbox, from those of you who have stripped a gearbox and refurbed also. im due to buy a tt manual box of one of the guys here to practice on first. before i do mine. so any info or help would be great, also any help getting the fooker out would be good also!! i can supply copious amounts of food, and drink oh and i can pay petrol money laos cos im nice like that. i h…

Hello all, I'm new to ZX cars, and last saturday i flew and picked one up and drive it 14 hours back, the car drove great, great power, no stalling, started up fine etc. got home parked it for 2 days since its been raining, and today finally i got to drive it, when... the car started driving really bad, like is bogging down, not getting air or something? Im not getting any check engine light or nothing? can you please help me out here? if i cruise on low rpm's like 2500 it feels like is driving rought, with a rumble feel thru the whole car, shaky kind of with a rumble, i don't know exactly how to describe it. please help! I've bee nthr proud owner of my Z for almost a week now but the one huge downside to the car is the really REALLY bad ride. No matter the road surface I get chucked all over the car are pretty much any speed. It's particularly bad at 80+ mph when my rear actually left the seat and I thought the car was going to take off. The car has been lowered within an inch of it's life and the suspension feels very hard so I expected a rough ride but this is almost undrivable. I've no idea what suspension is on it as it was bought already lowered but my question is - is the ride generally tough on the the standard suspension and if it is then it's probable that it's just been mad…

Hi guys, Did a search and got some nice info regards fitting rear seat belts to my Zed. I'd like to ask those that have done it how easy it is to fit them and how they got on fitting a baby car seat? Hi I have a Jspec tt auto and the Cruise control wont kick in below 50 mph, is there any way of changing this?

I've been loosing coolant for a while now and have finally found the leak on the pipes to the matix at the back of the engine,a common fault i think.Does anybody sell these on here?And also my top up bottle leaks half way down the spout i pulled it out and looks like there should be an "o" ring but there isn't !

Yes it's them Jap lights again. Ok, lost dip on the driver side. Fair enough. Removed the bulb, had another bulb but with no earth strap, so soldered one on. replaced the bulb, turned on the lights. On came all the lights but not the one I replaced. When I say all the lights, I mean the left hand dip and both full beams at the same time, but only verry dim. Could this be a faulty bulb? When I remove the new bulb I get working lights on the left and nothing on the right. Are both dip and full beam fed by the same feed? and do I have to have the dip bulb conected to get full beam? Any one help ( if you can understand what I mean) Chris..

Hi all, My Zed has been leaking brake fluid from the master cylinder area for a while so I fitted a new seal kit at the weekend. Trouble is, it's still leaking. I believe there was a fault with early master cylinders, anyone know what it was or if mine can be fixed? The leak seems to be from the back between the vac. booster and the master cyl. and is fairly slow. Thanks in advance.

Hi, I was checking something out with datascan and I noticed my O2 sensor going up and down, all over the place. After I rev it, it will sit at about 17 for 10 seconds, then pop straight up to 80 odd. Then A/F ratio and the O2 sensor go rich lean, rich lean, up and down, then settle about 17. Is this ok? I have a JWT chip..
