I am looking for some s/h parts for my zed so need to get hold of some breakers. I have tried supercarparts and rice rocket UK but had no luck. Are there any other recomended zed breakers in the UK?

I did read somewhere that some people started looking at different wiper arms and stuff to accommodate the new style of flat blade wipers. Well, you can now get them to fit the conventional wiper arms.... not expensive either. Certainly look better than those awful chrome spoilers with the gay little spoilers/fins on them. :hurl: http://www.1stautobulbs.com/part.php?wiper_variant_id=413

Hi guys, Ok, I've just had to sell my 350Z :( (loads of Nismo gear on it...) to finance a house, and am looking at a 300ZX as a "replacement". :) I couldn't be seen driving something "normal" now, could I?!? Need advice on this as due to the general age of the cars, if something is to go wrong it could cost me, big time. I notice a lot for sale are Autos... Is the auto box any good? I'm a fan of manual transmissions to be honest and so would much prefer this, but if the auto is ok, i'll certainly consider it. I'm also looking for one as close to standard as possible... Spent over £12k on mods to the 350Z and so really just not wanting the…

FOOK SH!T AND *****X Went and put diesel in me car this morning :headvswal :headvswal :slap: :nono: Anyway, as soon as I realised I stopped pumping, didn't start car and pushed it away. Got it to me dads and thought I'd syphon (spelling ?) it out but you can't get a tube down in the tank. I thought I could pump it out with the fuel pump but it only stays on for 1 second. Is there anyway to make the pump stay permanently on ? CheerZ An embarreed Paul

... what is generally destroyed? My dad has found a very straght, 1990 lwb TT at a farm he picks up from. its been sat for 18 months after the cam belt broke. i was just wondering what damage a zed would normally inccur? anything other than the usual bent valves? he's asking £650 for it, so i wasn't sure if it would be a good investment, to either rebuild/reengine, drive if i can insure it ok, or move on and put towards the 200sx i was planning on buying. any help or advice grealy appriceated cheers Dave

Took part in an adventure race on Sunday (irrelevant, but sets the scene...) As I was waved in to the carpark, the marshall lent down and says "nice car mate". :D Waved in the Evo 7 behind me without batting an eyelid. Made me smile...

I am soon to go and collect my first Zed but I dont want to say anything until I've seen it and driven it, basically I'm trying not to get excited - because Im getting it for cheap and am expecting it to be broken/breaking in some way or the other. But for now I just wanted you all to know about this SWB zed that seems to have a mighty tidy shell on it for under £1300! I bought a car from these guys before, it was good. This Zed seems to be too good to be true, even without a working engine / gearbox, it is surely worth this price. Anyway - I'm just a keen fan of Zeds and never even driven one yet, by no means an expert! But I wanted to share this with …

Since owning my 1991 TT back in 2001, I've gone on a motoring journey, culminating in a Ferrari F355 which I've just sold. I'll be spending the majority of the money from the F355 on sensible 'house' stuff and investments etc, but I've just bought my missus a Clio and have budgeted £3000 to get myself a little toy. Question is, can I get a decent TT for less than £3000. I'm looking for something very well maintained as the main thing is to not have to keep forking out... Am I likely to find what I'm looking for? ie. if not I'll go for something 'sensible'

a couple of weeks ago i started a thread about a noise my car made wen it got warm. well after relacing the vvt springs and numerous oil changes it is still there, a few garages have said its defo a cam or hydraulic lifter. are the lifters a big job in one of these motors. ive been usin the car everyday and it hasnt really got any worse. just sounds shit at around 2500 revs (well i can hear it anyways). would i be best takin it to one of these zed specialist? i live in the north east, does anyone know of a place they could recomend me to take her to get repaired. i will do the job myself but i reckon i might have to strip the lifters out and replace em all unless theres a…

hi guys, first post on here so I'm not sure if its in the right place. I've made my mind up - I'm going to get a Z as soon as my Impreza is sold. I've wanted one for ages, so I'm going to do it. I can't find the exact one in the UK so I've been looking at the japanese auction brokers in the UK. They've both got cars fitting the spec but the best two I've looked at (Yam 3 and Bonsai Cars) both seem to want payment as soon as the auction finishes through them. Looking on the Top Gear website it says that you shouldn't do this and retain some money until the car arrives in the UK. I understand that at an auction you pay at the fall of the hammer, but my major …

  24. Just hunting through some Japanese tuning shops and came across this. It's turned the Z32 into a giant FTOfrom the front... lol The back end isn't much nicer either. Those rear lights remind me of a spider. Then there's this, not too bad, but reminds me of the Porsche 911
