I am soon to go and collect my first Zed but I dont want to say anything until I've seen it and driven it, basically I'm trying not to get excited - because Im getting it for cheap and am expecting it to be broken/breaking in some way or the other.

But for now I just wanted you all to know about this SWB zed that seems to have a mighty tidy shell on it for under £1300!

I bought a car from these guys before, it was good. This Zed seems to be too good to be true, even without a working engine / gearbox, it is surely worth this price. Anyway - I'm just a keen fan of Zeds and never even driven one yet, by no means an expert!

But I wanted to share this with you:

I,d steer clear of this if I were you,no tax or test, they must know something you don,t. Its far too cheap.Pay good money and get one off a member off the forum is my advice. You'll probably end up spending twice what you paid for it in repairs.

Thats what I thought, must have some problems, its not for me (I like targa tops :P ), just thought someone might like it at that price. Especially with the popularity of SWB models on here.

lots of horror stories on net about that place

i was gonna say that ive heard bad bad things bout that place

Lol. Didnt know they were so notorious, now you mention it the car I bought was accident repaired and the air bags hadnt been refitted! Not that they told me. I was young and foolish, still am.

They have made the Z look shiny though.

Is that a slicktop carnt tell from the pics.If it is its cheap just for the shell.

Thats got to be a bargain for someone take that gay spoiler of lower it stick some decent wheels on it .ive been told the japs dont like exporting swb slicktops any more because there are rare in japan same goes for ae86 corollas .they will export but there asking top money now.

Very suspicious for a Dealer to sell a car without mot

I got my z for $500 usd it was fine after i put it back together took me 4hrs and i had my zed :)

No wonder it's £1300. Just look at that!! :hurl:

Id like to club together some money and smash that ugly spoiler of

...and give the wheels back to Halfrauds. That spoiler is horrid though. Can't understand what was going through the person's head when fitting it. Doesn't match up with the car in the slightest sence of the word.

If I had the cash I'd have it at that price.

I've got tons of spares to sort it out anyway and I'd love a SWB slicktop.

thats a small price to pay iff your gunna get a swb slick for that sort of money, the shells worth that

...too much money. £1200 will buy you a K reg 2+2 na targa. Ok, it's not a slick-top, but if you are buying a Z, the removable roof makes for great summer driving (most of the year here in dry East Anglia). For a further £100 it'll have an MOT too.

Good luck

Jack

steer clear of keighley centre mate !!!!! DOnt do it !!! i bought a subaru RA from the wasnt cheap and 1000 miles later blew up , then replaced engine that blew up too !!! Save ur money mate

Judging by the state of the drivers seat it has done a lot more than 57000 miles.

Steer clear mate.

Looks like a used and abused one to me. Look at the spoiler.

Got to be worth a look at that price..You'd probably get it for a grand if you went there with the readys...At the very least its got to be worth that in spares alone.

Even that's scraping the barrel.

Could be worse, could be PEARL

DO NOT AT ANY COST BUY FROM KEIGHLY

No No No No :slap:

Have to agree with above, don't go near them. My friend bought a car from them before we knew their rep. Looked great when he got it, but the polish was hiding the banger underneath.
