I have finally given up with the old headunit, as it was skipping even when hitting the smallest bump, so I borrowed a nice JVC unit instead. I removed everything today in order to fit the new headunit, only to find that the plugs are all different, which I kinda expected. Does anyone know where the best place to get an adaptor from, or is it a part to be ordered in?

Ok, My car is a crap colour (unless its just cos it looks old) and im going to be sorting out the rust on the arches very soon so i might as well get it sprayed at the same time. Now im really stuck on what colour i want for it, i personally love black cars which i think looks great on a zed for example zelda, I normally dont like red but i think it looks good on a zed. I also like the blue that is on Jason Farrows zed and getgreddy's. I think certain white ones look the dogs danglies such as paul g's which is probably my favourite zed. Also i will be looking to go wide arch eventually but at the minute i just want to know what colour to go for as a stand…

Does anyone know the best way to remove window tint film. My rear windows have a crappy light blue film which has deteriorated over the years and seriously obstructs rear vision especially in the night? Any suggestions would be apreciated.

Rims are 18X8 5/114 ET40 MM A Center ring MM 79.5-64.1 Bolt pattern NC12X1.5 34UL 35TL 19H C (5 Bolts each Tire) Also 2 other questions; 2. Is it possible to get an alloy repaired after it has been warped by a lateral force. I know the safe answer is NO, GET A NEW WHEEL but it is just a query whether it is possible or not. 3. what are the disadvantages of running 3 wheels as 18" and 1 wheel as 17" if i make up the total diameter of the 17 to match the total diameter of the 18s by having wider tyres. I guess it would look a bit strange but would you really be able to notice 1" difference by sight? I am just having real problems sourcing an …

Seeing as I'm doing a few jobs on the engine right now, I was just wondering if anyone know of any sort of heat shielding product I can get for the engine wire loom? Gonna try cover as much as I can, at least that way whatever is left of that 15 year old loom is protected a little better, even if it does just extends it's life for a few extra days in the long run!

Driving through St albans today, stopped at some lights and this bloke waved at me, shouted something and approached the car! Seems he was one the forum members and 300zx owner who advised me about this forum. So Mike in St Albans thanks a lot mate, it's a great forum and I look forward to meeting more of you lunatics soon. (I wasn't really trying to hide my brief case mate honest!) ( And I thought I was alone in this Nissan madness) :D

Some b*****d has nicked my valve caps FOR THE SECOND TIME. I bought a couple of sets off ebay when I bought my first Zed in June, they were nicked within a week of me putting them on. I kept the second set and didn't use them until I bought my second Zed in August but now these have also gone. I suppose I was lucky to have kept them this long but it really pisses me off when some little b*****d helps himself to MY property. I know they are only a few quid a set but if I catch the thief he will get a severe beating from me, I couldn't care less about "PC". Dave

Hopefully my (second hand) 99 spec rear lights will turn up in the next couple of days. I was just wondering if anyone had any tips for fitting/sealing the lights to the rear. Obviously I will have pulled most of the original tar off the car before instalation. Should I use silicon or some other filler? Thanks...

Been on the phone this morning to SWZ as lastnight I looked under the car, and the diff was covered in oil. I have been advised that its the diff pinion seal causing the leak. Now I am fairly hands on, but am debating if to drive 90 miles to SWZ and have it fixed there, or have a go at it myself. I was wondering if its a difficult job to change the seal, and is there an online guide about how to do it. Thanks
