As you may or may not know from my previous thread, I'm looking for a TT for up to around £3-£3.5K as a weekend/evening car. I've spotted one on autotrader, which is described as a 'mature enthusiast owned example' and in excellent condition. It is a UK auto in black and the pictures do look nice and the spec is good. It comes with a 3 month warranty. I've spoken to the garage, who have advised me that it has done 140,000 miles but has full service history. It's advertised at £3700. Is this good value for money, or would I be better of going for an import with lower mileage????

Hi people, I'm breaking my 300zx and have been called rear discs and calipers by a 200sx owner. There are some more parts he is after which I'm having difficulty with as I don't know what and where they are. He is asking for: - Parking Brake Assembly, Shoes, Backing Plate and Nut And springs etc. I just wanted to know if these bits would be found altogether behind the discs or where. Any help would be appreciated. :) Thanks

Finally got round to fitting them  There the JAPSPEED ones sold on ebay by 2Fast2Cool , nice quality and had no fitment issues at all. Managad to give it some welly on the way home , you can certainly feel the difference , power comes on stronger and lower down than before , just feels alot livelier :nana2: :nana2: Would reccomend them. The worse part is removing the original downpipes and elbows off the tubs , had to heat the downpipe bolts red hot before they,d budge and you need hands like a 5 year old to get to the top nuts on the elbows , but after lots of skin loss and swearing i managed it  Only problem now is it,s smoking like a train , i…

I have Apexi AVCR & SAFC controllers fitted, my boost is currently running at 0.7 and a half bar. I want to raise this to 1 bar, but don't know how to do it!?! The controllers were fitted when I bought the car. Can anyone help, I have looked at the Apexi instructions online, but can't make head nor tail of them!!! May be just me (thick), but just looking at them on there, seems VERY complicated for a novice!!!!

Hey guys, Just put on my new discs and pads ad serviced the calipers. When i took the brakes off by the way, I pinched the squishy brake pipe so no air can get in. The callipers have squeezed the pads back on to the disc but when the pedal is left for a few moments it will go straight to the floor with not much difficulty, but when pumped it gets normal pressure. Any ideas? Rich
