I'm calling it a day with the zed, it let me down big time again last night. I won't be inflicting it on any of the members on here it'll be an ebay special as i wouldn't wish it on anyone else. I'll be putting it back to stock form, standard exhaust, air box and wheels etc. It's done 118,000KM (72,000Miles), it doesn't smoke when you're driving just a little on start up after a short trip the day before (which'll stop again when the stock exhausts go on) Its got leather seats, only faults are the rear windscreen element is knackered and the aircon belt is missing so aircon may or may not work. 12 months tax put on the other week and a few months MOT…

Hello All, Going to change the tension rods on my zed to an adj set, how do i go about fitting these, can i just unbolt the old ones and whack the new ones in, i know i will need an alignment afterwards, but will the suspension collapse or something when i take the old ones out, or can i just put it on stand and change them ike for like. If someone can let me know how difficult it is that would be great, Cheers Dutchy

a friend purchased me the manual for a 300, but the one he purchased was one for a Z31 because apparently that's the only manual they make for the 300s. would the information be the same for a Z31 as it is for a Z32? edit: this is not the owners manual, it's the Hanes Repair Manual anyone know?

Hi everyone Yet another Z problem :o( Went down to start the car this morning and on turning the key the starter motor made an odd sound, like the magnetic contact thing wasn’t engaging , clicking kind of thing, the interior dash lights started to flicker , especially the battery light, there was clicking from various alternating relays ( or at least it sounded that way) from the foot panel area where the fuses are , then from the engine bay. Can also hear a sound in the speakers when trying to start , kind of like a feed back . Radio has been in for a while and noise continues even after the complete unit has been removed, Tried a charger /starter thingy an…

I had originally modded my back lights with the clear diffuser stuff, but after "test driving" Paul's 99 spec lights, I decided to do them properly this time.... If you seperate them completely, rather than just pulling them half apart to get the orange strip out, you can remove the grey plastic section. I used some of that chrome paint from B&Q (same paint I used for my headlights), which is pretty close to the 99 spec effect. For the black lines, Paul gave me a section of plain black Vinyl. To cut the strips, I taped together two small stanley knifes, with about a 2.5 mill gap. Then I just ran the blades down the vinyl several times to give me my stri…
