Hi guys, Not posted much lately as ive been away to aussie for a while and been busy with the buisness. Anyways as some of you may know i had the the bottom end done on my car just after xmas and shes still runnin well, problem is i have noticed the clutch has started to slip when cold. Is this normal for clutch slip? As when youve drove the car for a while the slip seems to disapear. How much could i buy a clutch kit for? Has anyone upgraded there clutch lately and still got a good 2nd hand clutch? Let me know. Cheers ;)

my car seems to missing on the passenger side exhaust the exhaust sounds like the engine is missing (passenger side), its making a putting noise, its especially bad when cold does seem better when warm but not much, it also seems to miss when you floor it and i get a lot of whitish smoke from the same side of exhaust any idea's

Hi, Seems like nothing but problems with my 300zx. I thought the alternator had gone as the battery kept dying but then I found that the econ fuse had blown. Replaced the fuse and charged the battery but it died again about a week later. Bettery warning light kept coming on intermittantly. I dropped it to an auto spark and the alternator is covered in oil. Any ideas where the oil is likely to be coming from? Any one know a good mechanic in Northern Ireland that I can trust with this car? Any help would be much appreciated.

Im going to halfrauds tonight to pick some up for a change along with a filter. Last lot of oil I bunged in was castrol magnatec. I'm just wondering whether to put some fully synth in - bare in mind I dont thrash tits off the car, but boost is upped. Shall I just go for some 10/40 - I may go Castrol RS0?. (Also bear in mind I dont do winter driving in it :) ) P.S. I did search threads but there were that many out there stating different things I just wondered if anyone had any new comments. I am going to unertake an engine rebuild at the end of the month and was looking into ways as to maximize the power output of my Zed. I will be going with the Total TwinTurbo Rebuild kit for AMZ perfromance with GT28R turbos instaed of the amz turbos. I will also be running a standalone engine managemet (haltech,microtech or DTA). 720cc injectors will also be in the mix as well as a water injection system since i live in the hot tropics. if funds permit i might go with a nismo crank as well (fingers crossed) I already purchased an HKS front mount intercooler with full hard pipes , evo7 recaros and R33 GTR brembo brakes..currently running a 3" custom exhaust whi…

Hello all, After my blowout on the front passenger side my HICAS light came on after I got the new tyre on. There is a slight veering to the left so will need to get the tracking sorted as soon as. But as this is my 2nd blowout in a month (tyres new on in December) on the passenger side (first Rear, 2nd front) I am starting to think there is a problem. Especially as I noticed slight wear on the inner side of the tyre 9full tread everywear else) My HICAS light had never shown up previously so not sure if this is even the cause. Yesterday we done over 500 miles round trip from North Yorks to Essex, Suffolk etc and did not see a single Z on the road are they really getting that rare :confused:

iv checked the fuses, iv changed the left switch pod, and iv checked to see if there was any power going to the blower. my voltometer did'nt pick up any thing. has any one got any ideas and what is the SUB FAN relay for, and is there a relay or a fuse for the blower motor? :confused: please help me im desperate :bow: :bow: :bow: cheers Nick

Can anybody please tell me where the conector's are that go from the wire that goes through the bulknhead/ inner wing (in photo) as i need to take the wire that goes through the front of the inner wing out so that the pannal can be repaird right in stead of bodging it up. thanks graeme
