I'm thinking of blasting over to germany once I get the all clear on my new shinny zed :hyper: :hyper: . Was wondering if the forum new when public sessions where taking place in the summer.... And also to guage some interest. I'm based in S.Wales and it would be to see a stack of Zed's blasting around the ring.... What do we (collectively think)...maybe something the forum owners can look into? I know I'm well up for it....even If I do drive almost slow enough to drive miss daisy..... ;)

Any guidance on fuel type for 300 TT. I have a texaco garage about 1/4 mile from my house, this sells the high octane stuff as well as standard unleaded..... Should I use the better stuff or stick to standard....? I'm steering well clear of Tesco and Morrisons fuels...for obvious reasons.... ;) Also can I use injection cleaners, STP, or other . Finally got hold of some R33 GTR calipers and have now run in some Ferodo Pads, drove down to Southampton at the weekend......wow what a difference now the car dips on it's nose and really stops as it should...however i have a little vibration when i do brake which could mean warped discs?????

Ive seen in the news that SUV's are going to get hammered for car tax. Up to £420. After the new budget. Is this based on emissions and if so how would a 300zx TT get hit. My car is of the road without an MOT and is still referenced as having '0' emissions from the importer. So i paid £175 for a 3.0L car last time.

As some of you might know i am in the middle of am forged rebuild (well Mr Duff is) and as anyone who has done it knows it is not cheap.But having spent so much and with the extensive head work Andy has done in thoiught SOD IT and in a state of madness ive just orderd a set of Tomie 260 deg cams,Tomie solid Lifters,Tomie hardened Valve Springs,and a set of Tomie adjustable cam gears. Its a good job im back in Spain on Thursday as when she finds out she will kill me LOL at least she cant :mac1: from there.

Would it work or cause any problems if i only have 1 dump valve on the car cos i have a really nice loud 1 sat doin nowt and my ARC dump valves aint as loud as i'd like them to be. Cheers, Chris.

Can anyone helpme with this problem, not sure what the problem is but when i release the brake pedel I'm getting what i can only desribe as a "clonk" coming from the off side fornt suspension area!!! has anyone come across this before, if so can you let me know what i need to do, also i'm find my braking power pretty poor, i'm having to put alot of pressure on the break pedal to get the car to stop, is this common the pads and disks are standard so is it just a case of uprating or am i looking at something else??? I have only had the car a week now, so I am a relative novice when it comes to this car. Any advice would be greatly appreciated Cheers

HI ALL YOU Z LOVERS SOMEONE PLEASE HELP me my beloved z has been stood around for 18 months in this time it has been started a few times with no probs at all, 2 days ago i started it up and it took 3 attempts to start at first engin turned ovr second atempt fired up then stalld third atemp fired up but was running rough, first thing i thoght it was due to being stood for so long and may be no pety, i drove to pety pump which is just up the road car was still running rough and idling was rough as well kept acting as tho it was going to stall! filled up £15 quid unleaded and was taking it to a garage for mot all the way it was the same rough running and just had no power at…

My TT slicktop has the washer fluid bottle in the boot... When cleaning my throttle bodies and air filter over the weekend I noticed my car had another bottle up front like pictured in the pic below: The only difference is that on my car it's on the passenger side. The top on the bottle says refrigment. Is this like a reserve to the water for the main rad or something? Sorry if it's a bit of a silly question.

An oil filter and washer for the sump plug for a Nissan 300zx TT (1992) online? Haven't really got enough time to pop into a Nissan dealers. Would like to do an oil change on the car this coming weekend (before I put the boost controller on) as I have the oil already. Chris

was driving today and noticed steam appearing from the bonnet i had driven the car quite hard for a few miles but nothing ott its a auto tt jap import the engine temp is normal but quite a fair bit of brownish fluid was leaking out, i turned the igniton off and left it for 10mins, started it up and drove and it was fine the smoke is coming from the area circled i do have a power steering leak at full lock but that is a red substance today light brown stuff was leaking durin the smoke

Started up my 91 jap TT sunday morning, only to hear the starter slip again. Had it replaced a month ago. After a minute, i could hear a rattling. Sounded like an exhaust bracket. It just got louder an louder. It did sound like something catching while spinning. Either way, I promplty cacked myself an wondered what sort of dent this will make in my wallet. I checked for oil loss. None. No smoke, and the engine still seemed to run smooth enough. :confused: Could this be major, or something to do with the starter?..oh an do i start crying now. This is the first problem i've had with it, and i've owned it nearly four years. tia :(

Well though i'd better post up a progress report as it's been about 6 months since the last one :o Anyway, As some of you will know i was promoted at the begining of Jan :D however that ment leaving the Pub where the zed was being rebuilt. Bugger :headvswal so after borrowing a front bumper off of Jaffa :bow: and getting no more that 13 miles down the road the car died double bugger :headvswal managed to get the Zed back to the Pub but was in a real stick situation, i had the Omega and the Zed at the pub, and was due to leave for good about 14 hours later! a quick stint on the interweb saw me with a top of the line RAC membership in my new address, which…

Has anyone had a problem with the hicas light comming on after idleing for a while?? Dissapears if I turn the engine off and on again?? Haven't looked anymore at it. Just wondered if anyone else knew something about it?
