As title... Who would fit an Apexi AVCR for me in the Midlands area...? asap. I'm waiting for zedworld to come back to me with a price. Anyone off here who's handy with the boost controller install and can do me a favour? Chris

Well my patience has been tested and i think it's gone with the purple nasty. I just don't think i want to chuck any more money at it :( i've spent nearly 2000 on it in the past couple of months and now it needs even more work doing. I think i'm going to break it cause it's worth naff all. I'll have a think about it first but to be honest it's been on my mind for a while now, the terrible fuel economy as a day to day car, the fact i never really get to drive it like i should do and the endless problems with the suspension especially the HICAS I should have never sold my NA, it was bombproof, and ever since i've had this car its in a much much wors…

My imported zed came with 2 headunits. 1) Alpine Cd player/tuner 2) Alpine mini-disc player The tuner originally wouldn't pick up uk stations but luckily i found a band expander the previous owner left in the car but hadn't connected it. So I can now get radio stations. The problem is...the cd player will not play cd's for some weird reason. Neither genuine or copied cd's. It inserts the cd and then after about 5-10 seconds it auto ejects it. I've tried around 30 cd's and all the same. Anyone know what's going on? I can get the exact models for the stereos if needs be. Hi all. Just had full s/steel straight through exhausts fitted....sounds awesome...and after that was done it flew through the mot with no problems...i`m so happy....WooHoo! :hyper: :hyper: :D

No stereo and i don't think the heated rear windows work and the fogs, checked the fuse for the radio and thats ok, any ideas? or could it be another fuse? :confused:

recently had new pads, calipers and discs, and they work perfectly, stop fine no noises however if im stationary and press the brake pedal hard i hear a sort of strain noise like a click from both front brakes, only happens when i put a fair bit of force down, just wondering if this was normal or not

You might have seen a few weeks back that I was selling my Zed as it failed a chemical test at my local garage which meant 90% head gasket done in. Since then I've had a kind offer from Wozzer to do the work for me for a price that means I should be able to sort it and the get her back on the road for summer :D However, I need to get the neccessary parts in for the job... ... I need some advice on what bits I need to get in, where to get them from, and if there's anything else I should consider whilst it's stripped down. Cheers, Christian

Looking to do this myself, I am fairly handy with a set of spanners just wondering if I need any special tools for the job? Have looked in the search sections and cant find any reference to one. Anything likely to trip me up?

what do these gears do on auto, if using them it seems to be faster i.e 1st, 2nd, then d does this act like a 1st 2nd then d bein 3rd 4th 5th?

What method have you used to bypass the HICAS pump/solenoid so it can be stripped out after fitting an eliminator bar? Is it possible to just cut the 2 pipes and join them or isn't there enough length?

Is there a sat nav programme that will operate in windows xp? Ive been told there is one out there but not sure if it uses postcode or has speed cam like good old tom tom, if Ive got tom tom for windows pocket will that work in xp? thanks in advance

Hello all, Ive got this problem with.... well i just dont know, when i press and depress the brake pedal qiute hard i,m getting a clonking sound and a jolt in the steering wheel, you can really feel it trust me. even when stationary at the lights when i let the brake pedal off it does it ???? every thing looks tight to me. but ive only had it on a jack to see if there was any play, if there is its not very evident.I thought it would be a ball joint but it doesnt look that way, but i havent had a real good look yet, If any one has any ideas at all whats causing the problem can you let me know.
