I am looking at EBC and Mintex products. Can anyone offer any personal experiences with either? Also, struggling to work out whether green or red pads would be better for my car, the car never goes on track and rarely gets driven hard. The existing brembo pads that are on it now do seem to run out of puff though on the odd occasion I have braked heavy from speed. Thanks

I am getting a steering wheel shimmy when braking and suspect the torsion arm bushes. I have seen that you can buy replacement arms for less than £100, does anyone have these? Or can offer advice on where to buy? Or, are the bushes still available to press into the existing arms? Thanks

Came across this blog today which belongs to an American member here. It's probably the best Z32 blog I've seen yet. Particularly the model differences and evolution details, which are far more comprehensive than other sources I've seen. The scale of the interesting and useless facts he has is crazy! Particularly on Jap zeds - I learned quite a bit from it about my own car, such as that the "UV Cut" decal on my DS quarter window isn't aftermarket. Just as well I didn't remove it after all. :whistling: Iangreenfield, some bits may also appeal to you as I hadn't known some of the details about the version R.

I've always secretly quite pleased that my little Shortie is unique around where I live :) So you can imagine my surprise when I came across another SWB T-top TT this afternoon! So much surprise, in fact, that I had to go back and get a couple of snaps of the two of them together: No owner popped out to see what I was up to and I didn't want to start knocking on doors (like a crazy person!), but wow! Not as unique as I first thought in these parts...

Hi all, It was only during my first engine pull last weekend that I noticed the routing of the power steering hoses. They route forward from the power steering pump, across in front of the radiator, back along through the engine bay, just to get to the left side of the steering rack. I can only assume this is for an optional PS fluid cooler, or is it for fluid quantity purposes? Can it be rerouted a more direct route to the rack? While the engine Is out Im trying to find an NA PS pump to get rid of all remainder of the hicas pipes which are currently just looped.

Anyone else done one of these? Not had a model kit for years, going to get a 350z model too so I can match my wheels and make it look as much like mine as possible.

My mate built this replica Diablo. It has lights of course from the 300zx but more interesting (and relevant) is the BMW V12 he fitted that has been given the addition of FOUR turbos also taken from 300zx's. Not sure on exact power but it's no slouch!

So, I couldn't wait till next week, I've brought my Brembo's into work and have one of the lads helping me. :innocent: Having looked at the calipers, I want to know which way I should have them ie. Bleed nipples to the top or bottom of the caliper, Larger piston to the top or bottom or does it matter which way round the pistons are ?? I can't take any pics till I get home from work, so I hope you understand what I'm trying to get at:thumbup1: Funkysi, you around??:whistling:

I've been giving this some thought recently and I might be on the look-out for a project car next year... My idea runs something like this: find a UK-spec TT and restore it to it's original glory. :) And by that, I mean stock everything: No HIDs, early spec rear lights, standard suspension and exhaust... even down to keeping the original airbox! A 100% stock Zed. I think the only concession I'd have to make would be (unsurprisingly) the interior; there simply aren't any mint original leather seats, so I'd have to recreate those. I think it'd make a change to see a completely original-looking Zed in mint condition at the shows  Crazy idea?…

With sadness in my heart I felt I should post this here as a lot of members will have known Martin and his lovely wife Liz. Sadly, Martin has passed away and the below note from Steve was on the Zclub which I thought would be nice to share with you all. Martin was a lovely guy.

Whilst discussing via text in traffic to Lee about the possibility of another Zed this little Beauty rips onto the motorway. Well tried uploading the pic but only accepts URL format. It was a white K plate ending in what I think was CEF. Was it you Ian??

Just wondering if its easy to get hold of a Jap spec windscreen. Mine currently has a UK windscreen so has obviously been changed at some point. I want to get it back matching the rest sometime next year. Also anyone any ideas on rough cost to buy and fit?

I'm thinking about having a bespoke system made for the Zed in the not too distant future, from the turbos back. :) What's the popular opinion (and pros and cons) regarding a full 2.5" system, or a full 3" system...?

So I got a bit bored over the weekend and installed a tablet into my Datsun. I used a Linx 7" tablet running Windows 10. its a 1.83GHz Intel Atom Z3735G Quad-Core Processor, 1Gb RAM, 32Gb storage, GPS, etc. I put a 64GB SD card in it full with music. I connected this to my stereo using a 3.5mm audio jack, its actually a 2 way split cable so when my phones in its holder sounds from both the tablet and phone go into the stereo. I then used this (http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B004DU4DGA?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00) to power the tablet, I actually have two of these one for the tablet and one for the dashcam. I had to cut the…

Hi guys Last week I went to drive my Zed (been running it about once a week or so) and thought I could smell petorl when i started it. Once I moved the car a few metres I could see some liquid on the floor but it looked more oily than petrol Anyway the car is across the local garage and they say the clutch slave cylinder is leaking badly I had a look on ebay and can find a variety of prices, from used original ones in 'good condition' from Banzai Breakers for £20 to new ones for about £45 but I am also finding these ones which say they fit the car TRW Clutch Slave Cylinder Nissan Terrano II 2.7 TD TDi 4WD 3.0 Di 4WD OE Spec http://www.ebay.co.uk/…

I just want to give an advance notice that we have now secured a deal with Enkei International as their official UK distributor. We are in the middle of reviewing the 2016 prices. Expect price to drop across the board from the current RRP. We will also offer discount to forum members. As always, £0 down 0% interests free financing is also available. So if you want some nice shoe for 2016, might want to start thinking about RPF1 or PF01. Jerrick

Good evening all! I'm in the process of pulling my engine to change the turbos, I have spoken a turbo specialist who can do something similar the turbos available from the states, for what doesn't seem a bad price for a core upgrade to a larger core. By the sounds of it they can custom build to requirements. What would the supporting mods be to get the best out of a turbo like this? Currently already have intercoolers, downpipes, exhaust, pulleys. I understand injectors will be a necessity as will a fuel pump, (mine is whining). And then a fresh map. Cheers for any advice!
